Does sending in a ticket do anything? Wondering if I should bother. Bought WPE from some guy and got a fake code. Only 1k though I guess.

No, GMs do not support transactions in game involving exchange of WPE. You are going to have to just eat the loss.

Not so much about compensation, just want the guy banned lol. Also wondering how it works if people do a big deal and gets scammed. Like say someone buys a White Lady for 6b, pays 5b and never gets white lady. Have done some of those big deals but never gotten scammed that way before though.

You can ask the GMs to supervise large trades such as the white lady card you mentioned. If you don't, it's at your own peril.

My understanding for big trades (What ZeroTigress) said above. Would be dumb to have to get a GM for every trade over 1b. But for WPE, I remember reading somewhere that GMs dont do anything though. Just wondering if anyone sent in a ticket anyway and what happened haha.

EDIT: Nevermind, the vending limit was only increased to 1 billion exactly. So you'll still need a GM to oversee these trades.

You won't get your zeny back, but the other guy CAN get banned. I knew someone that got perma banned for scamming like 5k WPE.

Yea I don't care so much about getting zeny back, would be nice to get the guy banned though haha. How do you know the guy got perma banned though, did GMs say that in the reply?

The guy himself told me he got banned and showed me his ticket regarding it. He used to be in one of my old guilds.

if they go as far as to perma ban them, i don't get why they won't give the zeny back.

I think this falls under the same category as "lending" a friend an item. You're doing it at your own peril.

they get banned for like two or three days...
not worth the effort. tickets still take forever to send

Very much not true.
Submit the ticket, and the GM team will investigate the report. Repeat scammers are often removed from the community.

show proof
any time theres "repeat scammers" they just brag about their many few day bans
removing them w/o reimbursing is wholly pointless.

Actually I wanted a GM to help with a Bryn trade, but they just told me they weren't going to do the trade and to just take screenshots instead lol.

Well, i really don't see the problem.
You are talking of a Bryn, not a 200b trade...
I did a 25b trade just some days ago with no GMs (as usual).
Never got scammed once (in 3 years) and i'm almost doing all the times at least 5b+ trades.
Just need to inquire a bit about the identity of the person who will deal with you.
Take screens of every trade and write something in every screenshots so in case you'll need to send a ticket to support you will be fine...

It was still over 1b, but I was pointing out how gms apparently don't help you anymore, just ask you to take screenies so that if you do get scammed, you can spend a month waiting for tickets to get your stuff reversed.

Beter safe than sorry. Asking a GM to help facilitate big trades is right but I can't imagine how long the wait would be to get it done lol
