Alright for about 4 days now, maybe 5 lost track honestly

I've been getting nothing but attempt to call ni valus erros of hotkeyreset and querregion blah blah and it completely stops me from logging in unless i go the around about way and directly open a window using steps i found listed on the forums here in a similar thread

My question is, how do i stop this from happening because i dont enjoy doing all this extra processes to log in...-.-

Are you referring to the workaround that involves creating a shortcut to the file Ragexe.exe or clragexe.exe? All the hard work is done once you've created the shortcut; you only need to open it after updating the client.

I use the shortcut to ragexe.exe but the only issue I have is that the client randomly defaults my chat window preferences.  The window in which you trigger on/off for ex: Show quest kill counts/Show items on/off.

I sometimes have that nil value error.  I'd say for me it is about a 10% to proc an error when I load up ragnarok.

Open the shortcut's properties window, open the "shortcut" tab, and then check that the "start in" field contains the path to your client folder. (The default path of the client folder is C:\Program Files (x86)\Gravity\Ragnarok Online on 64-bit versions of windows, and C:\Program Files\Gravity\Ragnarok Online on 32-bit versions of Windows.)

The target patch is correct.  I just have no idea why it sometimes, not always, resets.

yes i am talking abouy the ragexe work around, and i know i need to patch normally which i do, but its a pain to have to open that rag shortcut first, before using the patcher like normal of which if i open it with the rag.exe shortcut first it never gives me a error when trying to open it normally with a patch but if i dont use the shortcut first then it gives me the error over and over just saying its getting annoying. the other thread, if i recall azzy said its because the pc is opening ro to fast....even if i wait a few mins it still give me this stupid problem -.-
