Just recently, former president of Nintendo,Hiroshi Yamauchi, has passed away on September 19, 2013.  He was president of Nintendo from 1949–2002, 2002–2005.  He helped Nintendo bring the ages of videogames from the brink of extinction to what it is today!  Being a gamer, I am paying homage and upmost respect to the man, Hiroshi Yamauchi.  Thanks for all the joy you bring me and rest in peace.

:sob: :sob: :sob:

A song (Rocket Ship Ride) was composed and dedicated to the HIroshi Yamauchi

PS:  please dont move this to another area!!

Hirokazu Tanaka made two songs dedicated to Hiroshi Yamauchi. Tears flow everywhere...

If gravity make a quest or event in Honor and tribute to Hiroshi Yamauchi, that would be freaking awesome.  I, for one, would really enjoy it.  I believe that the RO community would appreciate this event also for the man who did so much for the videogame industry!

In more recent news, Nintendo celebrated their 124th birthday.  The company was established on September 22, 1889 by Fusajiro Yamauchi.  A tragedy indeed that Hiroshi Yamauchi was only a few days away from celebrating his companies 124th birthday.  Happy birthday Nintendo!!

My first system was the Turbo Grafx 16.  But my favorite is the NES & SNES because of all the great games on those systems.
