What's geffenia for?

Well, it's a dungeon o.o

You get to hunt certain exclusive monsters in Geffenia that you would not normally encounter in the rest of the RO world (Not counting dead branches of course :x )

taming succubus and incubus and hunting AK cards

And you get to complete the Sign Quest - one of the longer quests in the game : http://irowiki.org/wiki/Sign_Quest

 

You get to complete a bunchof subquests with one of the rewards being Geffenia, a pretty cool looking place imo.

 

You should look into it - I've done it and it's really fun. The rewards are also worth it.

Geffenia has pretty nice loot. Like said you need to do the sign quest to even get access and that quest is definitely one of the longer quests in the game from what I remember doing it years and years ago.

 

You can make some pretty good money from the cards and all the rings/malestas/bluepots they drop!

i enjoyed the sign quest.... still waiting on the Tome of the Dark Lord Quest to be fully implemented...

Please don't look up the article on the Ragnarok Wiki. It's very outdated and I haven't had the chance to research more into it yet.

It's a place to go die a horrible painful death as a low level swordsman who's curious about shiny lights in the middle of Geffen.  Seriously though, as a low level noob swordsman shortly after I had started playing I saw the portal open and became curious about it and decided to find out where the light went.  Horrible idea.

I've seen countless low levels do this. I laugh every time, and even moreso as I see them respawn back in geffen right after.

We used to send bots and goldspammers there using the same method as BotSpot.

It's a crappy dungeon with mobs you can't find anywhere else, and here's the kicker, they had off the chart flee ratings even before renewal(I imagine It's even worse now), so It's really only doable for the old wizard/xp leaching parties.

 

There's some scary mobs down there, in many ways, MvPing is a hell of a lot easier then dealing with the mobs in that dungeon.
