Can anyone confirm this? Because last time I played my reflect autocasters, CD does not proc the Ele sword auto... but it's been a while.

 

Anyway, especially if you're not using your aspd, I'd stick to Ele Sword and put in random autocast stuff or go with VF. Meteor off of VF is pretty nice and you can BB whenever you're not swamped in global cooldowns.

 

Ele Sword in particular is great because of the extra Matk for your CD. But it's not the clear-cut best autocast weap like it is for RG because you can't reflect single attacks to multiple targets as RG does with RD, meaning you'll have leftover monsters at the ends of autocast proc storms more often than not.

 

Not sure what your stat build is, but unless you have 90 stats everywhere, I might say go for a Valk Mant instead and a resist shield - cut down the damage you take and the amount you NEED to take in order to reflect damage at all at the same time.

 

As for Vanargand Helm... Does it proc on magic attacks? I didn't think so but I honestly haven't tried. If not, then you'd be depending on your auto BBs since you'd get almost nothing back with reflect damage (especially if you used High Orc for your reflection). I used to use a heal/heal item booster instead or an upped St Pattie's Hat.

 

cd in mouth does proc ele sword if level 3 is casted, while vana just states on dealing dmg you get returned sp/hp. these are the kind of comments i was looking for because it is informative.

You wont regenerate HP/SP on a magic attack.

 

These are the kinds of comments I like to clearly state in a non abbreviated fashion with meat.

 

Abbreviating every little single thing (aelt) is freaking annoying to those of us with a bit of intelligence but it's cool since I'm intelligent.

Actually, my RG has 1 Dex, he is PURE Int/Vit for maximized magic damage and HP. So there is no Spear Quicken, and even if there were, he would miss 99.999999999999~% of the time unless it is something SEVERELY under his level.

its still doesn't make sense to equip HBP if that was the goal.

Using Vana just for the sustain, i dont want to have to use pots, its almost an afk build except more destructive when i auto crap (what im trying to in theory)

 

 

Why are ya'll talking about aspd when he says it's almost an afk build? If you're afk then you won't be attacking ( unless you're all bots >_> )

 

 

 

If it's really an afk build I'd go for Life Link as your body (Adds Vit and +50% hp regen), can even get it enchanted with vit+3 if you're lucky

 

I'd skip on the Vanargand for your helm, maybe look into Ifrit Mask for the Meteor procs or go Sheep Hat (keep CD) and switch your shield for Race/Size/Hodremlin Immune Shield

 

As for cards to put into your Elemental Sword I'd go with Gryphon Card(Bowling Bash), Bloody Knight Card(Meteor Storm), and Maybe Mutant Dragonoid Card(Fire Ball)

 

 

I'm attempting to make my own afk autocast build for an RG, it was great level 50~90 but now it's getting hard to keep up with the damage of mobs while still being in a good xp map. Looks like I'm switching to a normal autocast build :<

If only I could afford MVP Cards!

Having the HBP makes sense because of the 90+ in both Int and Vit, giving me the bonus of the Reduced Neutral Damage Received, as well as the increase in Magic Attack. So I still take less damage, and deal more damage with the Auto-casts, which are 100% magic due to the CD and Elemental Sword.

whats this Vanargand hat people are referring to? I like to keep up to date on autocast gear and I've missed this one somewhere, not in database.

 

I find it hard to believe there is a gear powerful enough to keep you healed without either going to a very low level zone or using with mental strength.

Vanargand is a slightly better version of Rideword Hat. Heals half as much twice as often but no hp drain if I remember correctly

I still dont see the point, your points are valid but that can also be done more efficiently through an RG, making an RK suggests the fact that he wants auto attacks to proc his auto casts
