Hi, so I've recently installed RO on my Asus VivoTab and I got it all working UNTIL I got an error saying ErrorMsg::Creatdevice(sysmouse) after pressing 'play' on the patched. I got the latest DirectX and the system meets al the requirements. I'm just wondering if there's anyone here who knows how to fix this problem. I'm willing to add any additional info if needed. Thanks!

No sir, there are no keyboard or mouse attached to the unit and it does not have any usb ports neither.

I think the game may need to have something mouse-like in order to start. I don't feel like de-mousing one of my computers to test this though. 

 

Bluetooth mouse, maybe? 

I also think RO would be kinda hard to play without a keyboard to hit hotkeys on...

i also would like to know if theres a way to fix this. getting the same error on my windows 8 tablet.

I'm super tired but I know where that error comes from. You might try using the setup.exe in the RO Directory and uncheck Mouse Exclusive because that can cause that error because DirectInput could not obtain exclusive control of the "mouse".

I'm ah, a little unsure they expect to play on a tablet - If they're not putting a mouse on it, I figure there's probably no keyboard either, so they're going to have one hell of a time trying to use skills or items...
