So my original destination Volume C is full and the program wont let me change the other destination options. =/

I don't think I'm allowed to use E but I have a portable volume with 400+gb, yet I am unable to select it. Also, anytime I tried to download from the Ragnarok from warpportal, the page wont come up after I enter my password+email.(I always get this page cant be displayed)

You can copy the folder to any other directory or drive and run it from there without issues.

Ah, now another problem <.< Failed to get 2012-10-30data_gm.gpf file.

(Currently trying to fix it via, How to fix the "failed to connect to patch server" error, sticky. Cant connect via internet explorer.) Ah... also cant access any ftp servers? (-.-;;.)

Could a kind soul tell me what does step 2 mean? Configure something about download managers?

If you have any download managers installed, turn them off or set them to not be used with internet explorer. Some download managers apparently cause problems.

Also - please clarify

does ftp://ropatch1.gravityus.com work in other browsers, just not IE? Or does it not work in any browsers?

What error does it show?

Cant access the link via interent explorer and firefox.I'll be able to check out my modem when I return, but what "download" managers? Like bitorrent programs?

The connection has timed out

The server at ropatch1.gravityus.com is taking too long to respond.

-the site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few moments.

-If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network connection.

-If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure that Firefox is permitted to access the Web.

A download manager is a program that acts as a browser plugin or addon, promising to make downloads faster, or make it possible (or more possible) to resume downloads, etc. They have nothing to do with bittorrent - a "download manager" is for normal downloads, not bittorrent. They're also sometimes called "download accelerators"

Download managers in general aren't very good at what they claim to do, and cause a lot of issues (and that's the ones that are legit). I recommend avoiding them like the plague.

So now on to why you can't access the FTP site...

Can you access any other FTP sites? (Like this one - ftp://ftp.adobe.com/ - No particular reason I picked that one)

What kind of internet connection do you use?

Are you tethering to a mobile internet connection? (using your smartphone to provide internet access to your computer)

Are you on a corporate or university network that might block FTP?

What security software are you running?

Back.. Ah, I am using a roommates internet and the modem is by Infinity. AFAIK, its not a corporate network but it is like one of the only internet services my base allows.(If that helps?) For security software, just Malwarebytes. Still looking for decent protection like Norton.

Oh, cant access that link as well.

You can't access that other link in any browser?

It looks outgoing FTP connections are blocked by your ISP...? Could these be blocked per order of the "base" you're referring to? Can other computers on the same ISP connect to FTP sites?

RO requires that you be able to make outgoing FTP connections in order to play.

I'm so sorry Azzy for wasting your time. Failed to read step 3 of the "How to run RO on Windows 8: To bypass 'UAC' for RO only (-.-;;.)

o_o

How the heck could that fix this problem?! I'm baffled, I don't know how this can be a UAC problem.

Tbh, I don't even know what this whole UAC thing. The files were originally in the C/ hard drive area, wouldn't download. Moved it to the E/ drive, still no download, so instead of having the Gravity folder inside of the" program files x86 folder"  I placed the Gravity folder directly into the E/ drive.(getting rid of one useless folder I guess, sry if im not explaining it well.  @.@ )
