Dude the crit wound idea is so brilliant. A 10 second lv3 Crit Wound could be super crucial in defeating a group without one shotting them - or with the combination of the range thing, closer people get Crit Wound lv5 while further people get up to Crit Wound lv2. Lol, crazy coding though, not likely to happen.

 

What about, after you get SD'd, you get a buff for a few seconds where another SD does only 50% on you, and decreases further more every time, so it decreases efficiency on multiple SD's? (But then it doesn't make sense, especially when the first SD usually kills you) 

 

And as Kevin mentioned a change outside of the skill itself is a good way of thinking too, since that is more likely to happen

Michael, the only way someone lives SD currently, is RKs millenium shielding with a tao gunka on. Thats like at least 120K HP on an RK 

 

what about the classes that are rocking 20k. 

 

If damage can do a % of max HP that'd be even better. like 50% of max hp for any class.

1. Longer FIXED* cast time.

2. Demi-human reductions apply.

 

Would be a really good start for changes. Although some of the other suggestions sound cool, we gotta keep it simple at the moment for a real change.

How about this change: After a suicidal destruction goes off, a crater will appear in the affected area. Standing in the crater grants immunity to SD until the crater disappears (perhaps a 10 minute duration for each crater)

Would the crater be visible or just an effect to the map?

 

Cause if they have to code that visual effect kiss that idea goodbye.

 

But if it is just an area affect on the map then it may be something they can do?

How about an item that negates SD dmg at the cost of consumption?

 

An example would be kaite, and the reflected dmg. crystal fragment would consume that and prevent that dmg from being reflected.

 

 

So use up an item to negate some dmg would be great.

To D, yea i meant an animation on the ground that will last for a duration. People can still freely stand on it, but SD damage won't have any effect

no multiclient limit plz^

 

I like the split damage between people affected (rapid throw) idea. Still deadly/useful but to significantly less people, would only be deadly if used on a group of 4~ people or less

Yea no client limit, people use multi clienting for many other reasons than Mechs.

Wasn't there a complaint a few months ago about stasis and GMs invited people to participate in a test woe in Sakray to help show kRO that stasis needed to be changed? SD is even worse than stasis and who knows, maybe we can show kRO just how ridiculous it really is.

 

There are a lot of really good suggestions here for changing SD but hopefully some method can be implemented sooner rather than later.
