Is there any way we can have like... "friends" here?

Like, just a handy list of people that we would be interested in checking on their status and such easily without searching for each of them individually.
Or maybe like a tracking option for members or something, so you could be notified when one of your 'friends' updates their page.

If you look at your Notification Options in My Settings, there are options to notify you if a friend's status is updated or if someone sends you a friend invite and they have a Manage Friends option in your user menu. The system is technically there, they just haven't enabled it.

They could, but with all the bugs and glitches going on, I imagine it won't work as intended.

The friending system is disabled. No plans to enable it any time soon.

The friending system has to be enabled to track people through the forum site. The only other alternatives are:

1. Go to My Settings > Profile and make it show the max amount of visitors on your profile and hope that your friends are the only ones who visit.

2. Create a new folder in your browser's Favorites and add all your friends' profiles into that.
