Whats the best gear & stats for a PVE mage?

Depends a bit on what you're looking for in your build.

 

Personally for stats I recommend 320int, 150str, 200cha and rest on sen.

As for gear, either brave or courage work just fine, mostly dependant on your style of playing. If you solo or do gameplay in which you're bound to be hurt a lot, brave would be a better pick for the PVM defense it has. But pure offensive, courage would be a better fit, for its PVM offense and critical stats.

For accessories, a luna set can be good for its bonus in PVM, and it also has increased defence and magic defence, but hiria's tear and nature force, or a hebarn set also work just fine.

For a mask, anything goes. Dork glasses with a 12/20 int/attack power stat, or a 25/50 one is also good. Style sunglasses can be good as well, with a 25/50 stat or a 12/20.

For back item, just an orlean backshield is fine. Also preferrably 25/50 or 12/20, but 20int isn't a bad choice either.

Don't think the build works anymore unless you have lots of acc items now. Missing quite a bit in Orlo even with 130 Con on my mage.

With the changes made, perhaps not. If you get the 2accu per 3int passive though, you'll have no problems at all with accu on your mage.
