Anyone else have this problem?

After selecting any character the game just freezes on loading screen.

Yes, same for me. Tryin to create new char but they all naked, with random appearance and weird names or have no name at all and if you choose him/her game says error bla bla. Great patch.....

My game does not freeze, but I get an error message and Ragnarok does close itself (but this message is a debugging pop up, most likely because of certain software I have installed. If I would not have it, it might just freeze as well.).

Just figured this out and got in game. If you got the patch to go through and can log in the game, make sure you have the default UI and not Klyde's Obsidian UI. The game is throwing a hissy fit over it again.

Oh, that might be it. Can someone upload the defalt UI? I don't have it anymore.

Edit: I did have a backup. Problem Solved.

The backup of the UI I have doesn't seem to be letting me in, either. I don't want to reinstall. ;_;

*mourns the loss of the obsidian UI*

Hello,

You may need to reinstall a fresh version of Ragnarok Online 2.   Just in case, you may also try this before reinstalling to see if it helps: https://support.warp...a-re-patch.aspx

I was able to get the game loading past character select by changing the number of cores the game tries to use prior to loading into the game proper. Dropping from 8 cores down to 2 allowed the character to load into the world and made the game playable. I did this using Process Explorer, from SysInternals.

I can only hope my Google Fu has failed me this day and someone, somewhere, actually figured this out before now. If not, then I hope someone else's Google Fu has brought them here, and this answer can help them.

If you open a support ticket (https://support.warp...in/Default.aspx) our GM team will be happy to troubleshoot with you and can typically fix a character if their loading is causing the crash. If you don't have luck with your ticket, please send me a forum message directly and I'll see if I can help.
