Being the title, and being this is a beta. I'm sure there is a those op skills that every mage needs and the only that needs to be avoided like the plague. Question is can someone give me the must have skills and the avoid skills?

For 1-20 (as if that matters)
For 20-40 as a "mage" (monk/acolyte)
For 20-40 as a Wizard (battle mage)
I just tossed these together, and they're pretty much how you MIGHT want your skills to look at level 40. You'll basically get them as soon as they're available, so there's no order or in depth guide needed. You can also opt to get Witch's Curse or a higher level Wide Heal as well. These are both meant for full on attacking, although, a you can still support quite a bit as an attack-based monk/acolyte. Also, slow heal is VERY useful skill, while self-heal is preferred for PVP-fanatics. You can still get by without it (and it's suggested that you DON'T use it in PvE unless you reaaaally have to... So it's strictly PvP in a sense).
