How do people under level 40 obtain that medal if they haven't promoted to their 2nd class?

I'm a BM; is that 2nd class?
If yes, I already promoted to 2nd class, but I don't have the medal.

You only get the second class at level 40. You're not second class till you do the quest, I'm sure you're not second class.

Before all the changes, Master Transformer was given when you job change at 20. After, it's given at level 40.
