Assassin Job change broken?

Trying to change my job class but during the test where I must attack several job change monsters, the npc just simply stopped taking people into the room to kill. The last known person to go in seemed to die just before reaching the goal during the second half of the run where they had to sneak past all the monsters, and since then no one else has been able to go through.

hi, it appears that this issue still not solved till now. Many ppl are awaiting to change job.

Yeah it's going on five hours now and not even a reply yet. I think it's just stuck in a loop or waiting on a player to move on from the area that isn't actually there. It's too bad there are no in game contacts for people that could help with this kinda thing. Or if they are on there it sure isn't open knowledge of how to get with them.d

This has ALWAYS happened, for the entire decade that iRO has existed. I forget if it happens when someone DC's in the room, dies in the room, or uncleanly DC's in the room, or if they have to DC while being moved into the room - it's something like that though.

 

When it happens, a GM needs to manually kick over the npc.

 

It also fixes itself when servers are restarted for maintenance - and as it happens, weekly maint is coming in 2 hours. So it'll be fixed then.

Figured that was the issue. This time I think it happened due to the player reaching the goal, the game seeing that they'd passed, only to die instantly after. The player didn't DC cause he warped back and we all saw it just stop responding and moving the players out of que. So it's like it just landed in limbo where it sees the player 'should' be moving on, but they're not cause well... They're dead <.< Would think they'd set up a auto reset should this sort of thing happen, not that it has to realize that it's happened, but like a time out of sorts where after so long of inactivity it'll sort of refresh somehow. Though since they haven't fixed their lag issues in all this time I doubt they'll get around to this. Is there a way to contact GM's directly when something like this happens? I understand they don't need to be bugged all the time, but something like this is play ending for not just one, but several players all at once.

Yeah. I think that's what they did in the RK test, after it had the same problem (and was catching a lot more people, because the test is harder, so people die and bug it more often)
