Only because Cadence is not working. I should've noticed it before I statted...

Int is not addng atk power

 

Did anyone report this bug to a GM?

 

Does it need to be fixed? Or spsritual cadence will be like this?

Hit/Dodge rate in general is broken for everyone, though high-Agi classes like Ranger and Assassin have it a bit easier.

Ok well my hit rate is 108. It isn't my fault...all monk gear is 0 AGI. And Hitrate is only 1 point per Agi point. even if I decided to invest in cards...I would end up with nothing. Also the parry on the items are now useless....I went from 61% parry to 26.68% chance to land a 50% hit. It took a lot of time and $$$ to get my stuff...and now the build sucks.

 

I may have to invest in some crappy low end gear to boost my hit rate by 200 points.

I've made several posts about Monk and other bugs in the current Bug report thread. We'll see if any fixes make it to Sunday's maintenance but I woudn't hold my breath.

It's obviously broken. it doesn't look like any INT beneficial classes are getting proper scaling on their skills calculations.

I would recommend mixing in DPS and Tank gear to bolster your HIT. I actually prefer all DPS gear for a massive HIT and Vigor boost, which leads to a DPS boost, but you need high defensive stats for a few bosses (Drake, Maya, etc)

so master monk weapons give now AGI or at least the white ones from NPCs in Morroc...

 

white gloves gives crit (but no raw stats like str/vit) and rest of white armor parts (top, pants, etc...) just defence + str/vit

 

I wonder how master lv blue/purple weapons and armors will look and what stats/bonuses they will have

 

 

btw guys what stat you are putting your "stats points" in? 99 agi = more crit, HIT and OP stupidly broken dodge xD? or maybe you are waiting for hotfixes/rebalancing stuff before you consider using "stat points"

i ll w8 for sure....

 

hope they fix INT and Spiritual Cadence soon, cause i bouth all my colo t2 acessories int and agi based... and all of us have at least 380 INT stat points useless in this moment.

This is true, but the Parry is practically useless now with the suits.

Here's what I'm understanding so far.

 

If Cadence wasn't broken, purple gears pre-patch is stronger overall than current Master Class gears. However, current Master Class gears have a ton of AGI and CRIT which our current equipment doesn't have and enough STR to make up some of the ATK we're missing due to a bugged skill. On the other hand, if the current Master Gear trend continues, we won't get INT anywhere except from cards, runes, or base stats.

 

Now whether adding INT on base stats is a good idea or not is still up in the air since Cadence broken and since AGI is essentially the HIT/Dodge stat which makes it a get it or die kind of situation. Unless AGI is overhauled, we'd have no choice but to spec AGI because of the Hit factor which leaves the secondary stat to be who knows what right now.

 

It's really hard to make a good decision with all these formulas out of whack. Really could use a stat reset due to this.

Ugh, I accidentally backed and erased my prior thoughts.

 

I'll keep it short. If you are well geared it doesn't look like anything below what would be Maser B rank gear will be better for you. The new stats on Master gear are nice but you would need a near full set to compensate the overall loss of stats from your Current Epic gear. Rankd C or even D purple gear might be better but I have yet to see any.

 

As for stats I think they are trying to turn INT into a real bonus stat for Monk, similar to INT for BT for Knights and Wars. Right now STR is a 1:1 to PATK. Cadence, if unchanged, will still provide that 1:2 ratio making it our actual primary damage stat. It isn't a crit modifier but the flat damage boost will have good synergy with the Monk kit since our DPS is smooth and we have a lot of % modifiers on Guillotine, TSS and HT now.

 

Rukaroa is right that we will have to make the hard choice between AGI and INT. I imagine Defense specs will stack AGI to hit mobs while DPS will go full int or balance between INT and AGI for a nice crit/dodge and damage ratio.

I took off Ymir(Angelic form). Waiting 9m is ridiculous for it. It only becomes usefull in tight spots, but since it gives no def bonus it cannot be used to get out of a mob situation that has gone wrong.

 

I find steel body is a must and Lightning walk is crucial in succeeding in Colo. Also, I am not going to take down my G-Fist.

 

I guess when I rack up the time to get 35,000 points x 3 (LOL) with the mobs giving 2.2 MP (with MB Scroll) I will get the Angelic form. Of course I am going to rack up Quadruple Palm to 10/10 now.
