I'm new to DragonSaga, and I'm also new to online gaming as a whole. I figured I'd post here to try and gain some friends, hopefully ones that could teach me the basics, then give advice and small pointers during the intermediate stages. I pretty much like to fend for myself once expert tactics come into play; that way I've weaned off my instruction and kiddie wheels.

Anyways, I'm thinking about either a Warrior or a Thief, but I don't know what's good about each one. Could someone list (up to a maximum of 5 each) the pros and cons of these two, in a small but lithe format? I'd really appreciate it, and it'd save me some grief later!

Thanks you guys, I hope to see you soon!

Hmm, It'd be hard giving a pro-con list on Warriors and Thieves, mainly because their second & further jobs are really, really different... Do you have an idea on whether you'd want a specific warrior or thief class for your job change? That'd make our job easier, I would think.

Oh, and you can add me in-game so we can talk a little more, my IGN is Kalloth.

With Warrior, it'd be Gladiator>Myrmidon>Overlord, and with Thief, it'd be Infiltrator>Assassin>Ninja.

I don't like having beginner friendly classes forced on me, because I just tend to play what I like, not what is accepted as the easiest. That's why pros and cons are easier for me to look at because then I can make a decision based on what I like, not what's easiest.

There aren't really begginer friendly classes. Every class has their pros and cons, but they are all really good.

Well, I've played both classes that you mentioned and I would say Overlord is better. I didn't really like Assassin, maybe because it has too many buttons to press, but idk, it didn't fit me. But I've been playing Overlord for almost a year now, and I didn't get bored of it. If you want to, I can show you some moves ingame.

Okay, once the patcher gets done, I'll add both of you! You'll be able to tell that it's me, I tend to have a rather intelligent manner of speaking, using very complex words at times, and also saying random stuff.
