If it doesn't give EXP (and this is intended), why do you have the 23 hour cooldown in place?

the spawn rate of the racoons is STUPIDLY low. theres like 5 racoons on every map tops. even flywing spamming, im barely finding any. and why is the drop rate soooooooooo incredibly low? freakin koreans even managed to ruin christmas, god

 

 

 

Sitting and waiting for a specific NPC to show up is not that bad and doesn't require superhuman reflex skills. If you wait at the Umbala NPC, you can get the 5 points within 9 minutes or so, guaranteed. It is a 100% chance for 1 point every 100 seconds. Just play a movie or tab to another window while you wait!

 

The rate at which the Cat Santa Hat drops from the bag is what's ridiculous. I had to do this quest twenty-two times to get ONE hat. Was about ready to throw my computer out the window by the 20th time.

 

how the hell did you farm mats for 22 turnins in less then 12 hours? beep boop bop

apparently you can use last year's bag of goodies/ stolen candies lol. btw took me long enuf just to walk around lootie due to the frame rate issue :/

p/s: someone told me relog helped with the lag and it actually worked!

Are all the quest items storage - able? I'd rather hunt them on one character and distribute them through kafra, than hunt them on all the characters separately. :X

heres a tip.. camp the couple inside the building, they spawn every 4 minutes

so after 16 minutes youve got your 5 points.

The lag issue on Lutie is not that bad imo. I guess they should just increase the numbers of Socks Stealing Raccoon per map (or maybe drop rate) to make it less frustrating.

Yes, all of them are.  But the Bags of Selling Goods are account-bound.

so apparantly einbech dungeon has an insane drop rate on the stolen goods and crazy spawn rate on the raccoons in general. every 5 racoons was dropping goods for me >.>

Okay nevermind, it's really silent and it uses BGM's volume setting instead of effect's, no wonder I couldn't hear it...

The Single Union Christmas Gift contains one of the following:

3 Angeling Potions

1 Old Blue Box

5 Single Cookies

5 Bouche de Noel

5 Event Cake

5 Xmas Firecrackers

5 Christmas Music Box (scrolls)

Costume Cat Santa Hat

 

Man, most of these items do not make it worth it to do the quest.  Especially with no exp as a reward and the lag, this quest is a major pain to do!!!

I found that entering and then exiting any building fixed the frame rate.

 

With the quest. I got a -1 points from the couple to the east. One of them was getting off on the fact that the other one wanted to break up or something. So thats another possible outcome aside from the -2, +1, and +2.

If the couple doesn't break up for you, couldn't you just let the dialogue time out to not lose any points ?

so ive pretty much mastered this quest now. as sick as it sounds, im actually having ALOT of fun farming the stolen goods >.>. i found 2 areas where the raccoons are in heavy abundance and drop them at a frequent rate. i got so addicted to farming them that i didnt even realize i was no longer questing and had racked up 60 stolen goods 

 

i wish that the raccoons cat mask dropped or was purchasable ><

I asked about the Crystal monsters in the main notes and didn't see any response to what I asked....even suggested maybe trying to do the Juno summoning once or twice a day between now and christmas/new years.

 

they would be a much more welcome spawn than the santa porings....imho

 

The quest though is a harsh kick in the rear to most.....spent 3 hours in 2 days due to work and sleep on my FS AB trying to hunt good and talk to couples in crashmas land...after all that i got cake....>_<.  Im not to thrilled about this one.  Even the halloween quest gave the costume on the first go round.

The quest isn't bad. Its not tedious (aside from the Lutie memory issues) and its waaaaaay more of a quest then the pathetic Halloween quest. Aside from the Cat Santa Hat, Angeling Potions being great for pvm without a priest and so are Event Cakes (I assume it is the same as the kRO X-Mas Cakes that give Magni3, havent gotten one myself yet). Could be more of a reward like at the very least some EXP. Possibly a shorter cooldown timer like 3 or 6 hours.
