for the time we get to kobolds we are not even half master lvl 1 , then for when we are master lvl 2 we are already fighting monsters lvl 60... we cant play like this makes no sense at all... the exp is not enough to go with the quests

the game system is looking more and more alike to RO1 in this update lol, even in ro1 you leveled more by killing mobs than from quests xD (notice enemies of my lv givingme 1.5 mastery points while the reward from quests are usually around 6 from 20 mastery points lol)

I was past level 2 by the time I got to mukas. Sand golems are a good grind.

Worst part is even if you kill the high level monsters they reward no exp.

At Master Level 1 with +70% exp gained from both battle manuals, you can make roughly 1.5k-2.5k every 30 minutes.

 

It takes about an estimated 48k Mastery Points to hit Master Rank C and level 61. It would take nearly 10 hours of grinding non stop with 20 Master Battle Manual Orders to hit this point if you never level your master rank.

 

Mobs outside your level range only give 0.001 mastery points. At level 57, level 60 mobs give less exp than level 50 mobs at mastery rank level 1.

 

To summarize, there's absolutely no reason to level mastery level right now until you have somewhere around 120k+ points, which kind of defeats the whole purpose of the thing. The exp values really need to be adjusted in the new areas to make them worth grinding.

Yes, and even then the most mastery points you can get right now is 5 per mob.

 

The big issue here is that if you level your master rank, you screw yourself over. The furthest you can go while still making decent exp is level 53, but after that point, you just screw yourself going any higher.

Yeah i understand that now. I was leveling my mastery levels hoping the higher mobs would soon grant me more exp but im already screwed i guess (lvl 5 here)

I was thinking the same thing.  I would have been happy if quests in RO1 were half as effective as quests in RO2

Best place for grinding in the game ATM is Fortress of Sandarman, just FYI to anyone not aware of this fact.
