idk how is that possible but the description say Wep under+10 will not destroyed it just going to degrade by1  but when i try to refine my T2 sword from 6 to 7 and it failed the wep broken -.-  now i cant do anything  unless somebody carry me to a raid to get sword -.-

Greens and Blues will reset to +0 if I remember correctly. Purples will break most likely if the refinement fails.

DId you use any Protection Stone? If so which one.

i didn't cuz the desciption on the UI refinement says under+10 if failed it will just degrade by 1

Make a bug report I did.  My Assault Quiver broke trying to get +2  The refinement shows a 0% chance of breaking when you try to refine items under +10.

Did you read correctly? It only applies if you have protection on your weapon. Sorry but not WP fault but simply user error. I think you got extremly lucky to have made it to 7 TBH.

           a. Using Infinium

          -If item is +1 to +10 and the refine fails, the item will not break. Instead it will remain at current level or will be degraded 1 level. 

          -If item is +10 to +20 and the refine fails, the item will not break. Instead it will remain at current level, degrade by 1 level, or return to +10.

Here is what is said in Refinement dialog box:

 

Refinement can be proceed with equipment, refine stone and refine material. Under +10 enhanced equipment could be failed with -1 penalty. Over +11 enhanced equipment can be destroyed or initialized to +10 graded if its failed.

 

 

If the equipment is destroyed, it's not player's fault. The description wasn't stated clearly.

Anyone who loses equipment to this should put in a ticket.. I imagine they'll reimburse you. In the mean time, damage is so stupid high, that it might not be too awful to use a white weapon while waiting.

The Refining window description is misleading. It doesnt say you "must" use a Infinium to protect from breaking for all items. It says the item might break upon failure, for items +11 and up. For below +10 it says it may only downgrade. Nowhere in said description says this is only applicable if used with Infinium only. Infinium's description is a separate thing. For now, considering all of this is so confusing still, it's best to not refine, or do so with Infinium. Always ALWAYS takes screenshots of before, during and after process, to have evidence to report in case of bug.

Is what is written in the Refinement window.  So items that are +1 to +10 are not supposed to break.  My item was +1 and it broke.  I made a bug report ticket.  Either way, it's a bug or the description is wrong and I should get my item back.  Same goes for the OP.

year later GMs finally respond to everyone who lost their weapons because not working properly/bugged refine system:

 

"oh my....we are very "sorry" but we can't give you new weapon because <insert here stupid excuse> _laugh:"

 

 

but hey maybe soon their will add t2 colo gear boxes to shop so you will just use yours/your parents/your gf/bf golden credit card and buy lots of boxes until you get your weapon back

Err, guys, if you check on the new items to support refinement, all of them says "Reduces chances of item break upon failure" (or something like that)

ALL of them says that.

 

There will always be a chance for your gear to break when trying to refine them even if you have the support items set there :/

The description of the refinement says different things.

Aw. I ran 3 times: SM, BM, BM again. Terrible luck today. And nobody seems to have the new master level weapon recipes either. We just have to hope someone read our tickets, but it usualy takes ages, sadly.

Yeah. I hope so. But with all these bugs and the whole game, which needs a fixing, I doubt that the tickets will be read anytime soon.

I have the master priest pants! lvl 1 tho, quite rare tho... gave it to a friend who actually plays priest tho...

i also broke my colo weapon trying +3

 

And even better, for who doubt it's a bug : I tested with one green weapon, and broke it trying +2!!!!!!!
