db.irowiki andrenewal.playragnarok.com are both wrong

hunting raydrics with 393 flee i kill them in about 3 seconds and i still usually take one hit per individually fought monster. i have 95% dodge i shouldnt be getting hit this often

another thing i noticed is that the flee calc really does shaft agi characters. the reduction of flee over 3 monsters does not go away immediately after one of the three monsters dies it takes a second or two. this is consistent and has nothing to do with lag. it also keeps the flee reduction even if monsters are not hitting you ie. stunned. why such lame mechanics

The database IS right. Raudrics have skill called Maximize Power. I'm not quite sure how it works on mobs, but if a blacksmith has this skill on, it makes them unable to miss.

Umm unless it has been changed recently, Power Maximize does NOT increase your accuracy in any way.

it was weapon perfection (or was it weapon mastery?) that used to be able to do some tiny damage if you missed but blacksmiths dont have any skill that ups your hit

Wasn't Power Maximize the one that when you supposedly "missed" you actually dealt some small portion of damage, like 10 or so, isntead? Weapon Perfection only removes weapon size pentlay.

Weapon Perfection eliminates size penalties

Maximize Power mostly eliminates damage randomness, making all of your hits do max damage.

Raydrics have Magnum Break, however, which adds +100 HIT to the skill and provides a 20% Fire ATK bonus, which I believe hits at the same rate as Magnum Break.

Also the more monsters you have attacking you the lower your flee is reduced! Don't know if you're 1v1 or mobbing

sigh...

Maximize Power = attacks always do maximum damage, it does not effect hit.

Weapon Perfection removes weapon size penalty.

Blacksmith's DO have a skill that increases hit - Weapon Research.

Weapon Research is also the skill that previously added +2 def/flee/modifier bypassing damage per level. The hit/flee/modifier bypassing damage mechanic was removed in renewal. Monsters never had a way to get that sort of damage (though they have several ways to do a flee ignoring attack).

I suspect OP is either getting mobbed (-10% flee for each monster after 2), or taking damage from MB as others have said above.

It's amusing how people (including myself) start getting unfamiliar with 2nd job skill descriptions now that we have 3rd jobs and all that.

On-topic: Yea if you are mobbed your flee won't stand a chance. Perfect dodge counters mobs. :)

IIRC magnum break has +100% bonus hit

The veteran should remember that monster is stronger post 14.1 big update. Monster atk stronger, hit/flee requirement increased while the database haven't change.

Clogon suggest about the monster changes.

The thing is, due to massive changes, nerf, new gear and all...we never really discuss about this changes but they definitely stronger post 14.1.
