For the past 2 days, I got few to no bot pms, and none from the bots of the company that had been bombarding us with pms on multiple bots at a time. Did they finally give up ? o:

I heard there's a gm dedicated to stopping those bots sneaking around towns in gm hide

It looks like the GMs are doing it well. I still got pm from bots but not so many like the past days ^.^

Same for me, been in Prontera for 4 hrs, only get 1 pm so far, and it's not even from that company.

Looks like they are muting players even before getting into cities.. You'll see novices with gibberish names getting muted in Izlude Dock.

It's different in my case. I just left my character in an empty spot in Payon and I still receive PMs. How the hell does that happen? I guess I should stay away from crowded places to avoid having my name added to their PM list.

I hope the bots' owners would add something like a do-not-PM list (similar to telemarketers). But I know they're douches and won't even think about doing that.

I just hope GMs didn't accidentally replied these bot pms lol. One of my friend accidentally did it (while talking to his friend, suddenly that chat popped up) and later on, his account got hacked.

But still we need a better solution. Gms cant keep seaching them for all day long. Disable chat for job base  level 10 would be a better solution. I dont believe any zeny seller would level up chars.

This wouldn't help, the companies would just make a crapton of bots that lvled first, and they would have some already lvled waiting for when one gets banned.

Is Ragnarok really such a popular game that it requires all this attention from zeny sellers and bots and stuff?  Or is it simply that the player base is so dishonest that the zeny seller actually make a profit and increase their numbers?
