One other thing that also irritates me is seeing 150 homuns and/or 150 owners afking their homuns. Now they could be doing it to increase spawn...but still..there's better maps that higher leveled homuns can kill at if they want exp or something. Thats just a personal gripe of my own.

 

 

While, yes, my Gen is 150, I was actually doing other stuff, semi-AFK, while checking back every now and then to see if my Homunc needed feeding, or if there was someone casting AoE under MY feet, from 4 squares away, while I had been there for roughly 15minutes. Considering my Homunc is only level 94(now) and barely Neutral in intimacy, that was the best place for me to semi-AFK while I was busy getting ready for company. So, not every 150 player is there because there isn't better places, it's sometimes because they have other stuff to do and would still like to level their Homunc.

I've had a polite homunculus since it was first implemented and I was using DokiDoki AI...

 

The problem is that some players don't give a crap. They're the same people who consistently KS you on every map, especially TIs, and insist it's FFA. Luckily they lifted most of the chat filters so I can actually tell them what kind of ass faces they are.

 

The real miracle is that I've been playing for almost a decade and have yet to get a profanity ban...

what i don't understand is that it's so easy to get a homun from 1-99 in a day or two without ever having to go to ant hell or od2. i

 

 

umm, i call bulls!@#! there is no way to get a homunculi to 99 and loyal in a few days......without the use of bot and autofeed programs.........there is no other choice to level for us

Loyalty was never mentioned in that post, but they are right.  It is faster to level your homunculus manually than it is by afking.  Especially in maps that are so crowded that people resort to ksing each other.  If the monster hits too hard, tank for your homunculus or help it kill.  It is how I leveled mine most of the time.  1-2 days seems to be pushing it, but that really depends how much you play a day I guess.

 

Even with a no sleep, it would still take nearly week to loyal a homunculus.  That part is ridiculous, but it is not what is being discussed in the thread.

ok i'll give you that loyalty was not mentioned by said person, but there is no way to get a homunculi from 1 to 99 in a couple of days........even active playing will take you far longer than a few days

I've gotten mine from 1-60 in a few hours of being active leveling and being semi-afk. Getting it to 99 in a few days wouldn't be hard. As long as you actually are leveling it, and not constantly semi-AFK or even AFK.

one weekend i made a new vani and for the first 10 levels i helped tank for it but then i semi-afk'd at spores for an entire day. easily got to 40-50 because thankfully the bots help the spawn rate for the homun. then I moved to OD1 and loosely watched it for several hours while I watched movies. only a few hours later the vani could survive without any monitoring and I moved down to OD2 until 99 by the end of the weekend. christ, you only have to feed it every hour and as long as you can semi-afk this isn't a problem. granted i didn't have to go anywhere during the weekend but even if you're busy just add several more days.

 

call your bulls!@#! all you want but all i am seeing is useless b**ching. even with AoE ksing you still get way better exp solo in OD2 than at gramps TI. if someone invades your spot just move to a new one.

Actually, when I made my Gen,  I had a flir from when I could first get it, and we leveled together.  Now, I can't say it was literally a couple, meaning two, days, but as I went from 1-99 that flir ended up in it's 80s, and was 99 before I was the second time around as a biochem.

 

If it wasn't for the loyalty event I probably would of taken longer to get my Homun S, but I was pretty much good to go when hitting 3rd to get Homun S.  And it took nary  a few days play time.

She was stating that the LOYALTY can't be done in a couple of days. Getting it to 99 LEVEL can be. Not LOYALTY.

i was responding to tattoedchef, misquoted.

i heard both. loyalty is a different story and i don't see how that's relevant to OP's post or getting to homun S since you usually get to 99 way way before first evolution.

Oki back to topic so kill stealing is bad yes. I have my own cynical way of dealing with them.

#1 right down the name who is ksing you

#2 Ropd that name

#3 look to see if they have alts or other chars.

#4 befriend them make them feel safe around you

#5 ask them to pvp ^.^

#6 release that anger from when they ks u on the pvp floor

#7   go to bed
