Why would they need to give out individual information on field mobs? Seems dumb.

Test Server has been mentioned tons of times already.

What they need to do is clarify the Class's skills (Wizard/Ranger/Priest/etc.), fix the stat bonus for specific classes, double check their coding for patches, TEST THEIR PATCHES, and actually care for their players.

I think it's clear they are not testing at anywhere near the level they should be, if at all.
We can only guess what the reasons are for the gross negligence displayed around the most recent two patches beginning with the introduction of AoV, but no reason they can provide will be acceptable.

Within minutes of logging online, hundreds, if not thousands, of players (do we even have that many players now?) noticed an abundance of problems.
If the GMs had spent even 30 minutes playing as a regular player would, they would have immediately noticed that the content was not even close to ready for release.
The idea of a public (or even restricted to a small subset of the public) test server is something we, the players, need to push for now more than ever.

If they don't have the staff or resources available to test properly, they should delay releasing content until they have the time to do so.
If they can't delay content releases because of unreasonable timetables and goals, a test server would take much of the onus off of the GMs/Devs for thoroughly checking all the content. There are many players who would gladly help balance content, find bugs and provide valuable feedback. Doing this in production only serves to upset everyone.

On the flip side, if they do insist on simply shipping an untested product ("%&*# it, we'll do it live!"), we should not be penalized for their absurd mistakes and lack of foresight. We were offered skill resets for 1z (Never miss an opportunity for a Zeny sink, amirite?) and considering plenty of skills are still various kinds of unbalanced, it would be ridiculous if the availability of these low-cost skill resets wasn't extended until at least 99% of skills have been balanced and finalized.

Dayr & ToO mob EXP clearly needs to be boosted, and there are various other issues all over the place.

The general solutions to the problems made apparent in this patch are:
  • Direct involvement of players on significant class & skill balance changes.
  • Clear testing procedures and accountability. A test server for players would significantly reduce the pressure on the staff to have content up-to-par before release since they would have tons of input to help them move forward.
  • Active communication. There are so very many threads that go unanswered by a staff member, many of which raise valid points. Bug reports should *always* receive a swift response. Acknowledge it, prioritize it, schedule it, and fix it. Give the person who reported a "Thanks for the report!" and maybe next time they won't just share the bug with their friends and abuse it to kingdom come instead of reporting it and hearing crickets for days or weeks, while the staff pretends it never happened until they eventually get around to a fix for it.
Whoever spearheaded the push for this content to be out immediately before the holidays when the staff clearly wasn't going to get anything worthwhile done has totally -_- the bed, and has likely cost this game quite a few players and some revenue. The sad part is that it could have easily been avoided with some community feedback, testing and communication.
