I don't know if this thread is going to be against the rules if it is I'm sorry please close it. I was just wanting to know what reason people have to keep playing this game. My three main reason would be,

 

1.) My gf and I play together and If I quit she would probably quit, and I don't want to make her quit just because of me.

2.) When I try to find another game to play they are not really appealing.

3.) Ohhh I can't forget my guildies too hahaha

Despite a few flaws I really enjoy the game...and that makes me keep playing.

Also I want to see this game through till the end, so when they quit I will have to find a new home, but I've had so many guildies message me saying they are taking leave because this patch broke the game too much for their liking.

 

If I wasn't responsible for Wicked I would have stopped playing after the 12/22 patch because I've been ._. off at the game. I never asked to be a beta tester.

The fun raids (when they are working properly), and the knowledge that it'll all work out anyways, and the friends that i've made.   Every MMO gets old after a while, thats why games like SWTOR crashed and burned after a few months.  People went nuts when the new Final Fantasy MMO came out but that too has become old news.  What sets this apart for now? For me its always been the community.  I always say that i've never been a part of a game community as friendly as the one on RO2, and even though it has nothing to do with the devs, its the game's best feature.

Currently I'm lurking the forums, hoping for gravity to get their act together and give us a good patch cause I really do enjoy playing the game. It's suprisingly addicting and the people on there make it worth coming back to.

1) GG is an awesome guild.

2) I've spent too much time on this game, been here since May, I've got 10 chars, 6 of which are lvl 50, 3 of which are AoD geared.

3) The game itself was fun with raids, in spite of everyone complaining about the difficulty; the fact that it's now easy and a grindfest with no real good rewards dropping may actually make me quit, but I'm waiting on the Jan. 2nd patch.

4) I'm very much a completionist, this being my first MMO I wonder how fatal that will prove to be.

The hard raids were what made it fun for me at least. Now it's kinda meh. I don't really see the point in grinding forever.
