I've been playing mage for a long time already and i've noticed theres something bugged with 1 of its skills

 

The skill is (PvP) Cold Snap.

 

Somehow my mage manages to miss that specific skill like 50% of the time.

 

Even when my accuracy is at 3k, and my opponent's dodge is less than 2k.

 

I know its bugged, i havent tested that with the regular coldsnap skill - but im definitely sure the pvp type is bugged and i hope there will be mages here to agree with

 

if you could check it out i'd appreciate it

I was just testing my mage's (regular) cold snap today, and it was missing when I had 1.5k accu v 1.2k dodge or so

the skill is obviously bugged.. i dont know how, but I can miss that skill even when my accuracy is doubled than the enemy's dodge which is wrong

Has anyone tested the skill on Pegasus to see if anything has changed?

Skills are still missing on Pegasus unless moldies have more than 2.4k dodge ...

I was referring specifically to (PvP) Cold Snap. All skills have at least a 5% chance to miss, and at least a 5% chance to hit, regardless of how much accuracy or dodge you or your opponent have.

Edit: Just tested out (PvP) Cold Snap on Pegasus, and didn't see anything close to the 50% failure rate being claimed. I can only assume that if there was previously an issue with the skill, that it is no longer occurring unless someone can provide consistent data that shows overwise.

Attacker: Accuracy 779 (779/3000=0.259666667)
Defender: Dodge 558 (558/2000=0.279) - Note that the defender has more dodge by scale than the kalfak2's opponent had, meaning a lower theoretical success rate for the attacker.

 

Damage Success Rate: 48/50 = 96% (which fits in line with the minimum 5% chance a skill has to miss)

Status Effect Success Rate: 50/50 = 100% (which should always be the case, as noted in the skill's tooltip)
