HI GM,

2 Hours of farming in Chaos map and only 8 Weapon Powders ??? You gotta be kidding !! Good business plan would be at least 100 or more every two hours of farming so that players can BUY cash items to enchant armors and weapons hint hint ^^. Long story short change the drop rate please !!

Sorry but I dont agree so much with that idea.

Increase the drop rate in other hand would mean - Lowering Weapon Powder's price

That would mean that Weapon Powders would start being a common item, and everybody around would have +5/+10 Weapons.

The fact of +5/+10 and so on Weapons having nice looks and being cool is Unique, and increasing the drop rate would mean that it would pass from Unique to Common.

Also these players that farm few Powders for a bit of money, would be ruins with it.

I know that it depends on luck, maybe you weren't in a lucky day when that happened.

Remember that you can get them from F Missions and from Mini-Bosses too, so i don't see the drop rate THAT absurd at moment.

Good luck in your thread.

it's already common for people to have weapons +10 and higher. The drop rate of weapon powder was alright before but now it's drastically reduced.

I kind of understand where you coming from as to weapons being +10 and up however I personally don't play this game to make gold or worry how much gold I have....because you can't level up with gold but rather level up by killing mobs and not get discouraged because you are worrying about gold or not having drop items available to make your items stronger so you can enjoy the game. If drop rate is something WarpPortal doesn't want to change then Just sell it in IM shop so I know I can buy it when I need it, instead of worrying about how much gold I have to farm or make rather then leveling.

I'm sure the enchanting rates haven't increased at all. There was nothing wrong with the amount dropping before and now that it's harder to advance, spec and artifact things it's more difficult. Rates need to be changed back to the way it was. Either make wep powders drop more and decrease enchant rates or increase enchant rates to balance with the current drop rate of wep powders.

It makes NO SENSE for rarer/harder to obtain items to have a lower chance of being enchanted. That's called a flawed/unfair "game design," not innovation. The whole enchanting system is rather unimpressive and terrible when compared with current day MMOs. Even Maple Story's enchant (scroll) system works WAY better than our current one despite Maple Story being ridiculously old. If the current rate for enchanting was 90% PER enchant for ANY level for ANY item it would make a lot more sense and STILL be tricky to get anything to a high level.

Ex: Let's make something +7, which is what something SHOULD BE to be decent/worth having enchanted.

.9^7= 47.8% chance of being successful.

That's 47.8%. That's less than half. You're going to risk all that money/7 powders for only half a chance to get it +7. Well, that sounds fair! No, seriously, that's much more fair than this ridiculous powder system. What if somebody wanted to take it to a ridiculous number (if that's even statistically/virtually possible) such as +20? That would be a lowly 12% chance of happening. A person would have to go through at least 160 powders and 8 weapons give or take depending on their luck. So, in conclusion, it's more fair, makes more sense, is easier to calculate, and doesn't make enchanting easy or tedious. Or in other words, it's a "good gaming design."

Even if the drop rate for powders was increased, we'd still have the super crappy enchantment system we have now. So it wouldn't address the main problem. It would also justify the current drop rate.
