natural critical build will get you the most damage

glorious jamadhar for pvp and against demi human targets

elementally or mobster carded high upgrade jur[3] for general pvm with endows/converters if applicable

+9 pollution emh will help you save on some luk and give you both crit and damage bonus

pirate dagger

pollution sunglasses

porcellio carded armor

perfect AS anti-sniping or giant whisper FAW

+9 slotted variants with firelock soldier card

for just fooling around and max damage - 120 str, enough luk with your equips to get about a 60-65 'cri' rating in your status menu, as much agi as you can spare without dropping into vit until you get 193 aspd

bakonawa agimat tattoo x 2

Is the emh hat better than the lil feather hat +7 with the sharp arrow?

And im thinking like 120 agi, 100 str, 110 luck.

The sapha set increases cit damage by 40%. That is not written but it works. You're really squishy in it tho.

LFH (Angra mantis card) + Sharp Arrow will increase your crit dmg.

Improved Assassin mask will increase your crit damage.

90 luk with a +7/+9 HBP will increase your crit damage.

The glorious jama increases crit dmage. (Roar too? idk)

The LUK glove increases crit damage at 110 LUK.

The Chakram + Sin cuff combo increases critical damage.

I probably missed some, the above are all what I tested. You can mix and match if you're interested in pure crit dmg increase, it's fun as long as you balance it around to survive.

PS. With your stats like that (100 str, 120 agi, 110 luk), you won't survive for long. :s

LFH (+sharp arrow) > EMH from my tests, both at +9, both clean. Probably the same situation with cards.

yo leiand, i got some suggestions if you don't mind.

Equips -

  • +9LFH[Vanberk] + Sharp Arrows
  • (Maybe) Vanberk Sunnies (Or) Pegasus wings for ASPD
  • CD in mouth
  • +9Sapha[Porcellio] with sharp or crit enchants
  • +9 or Higher KvM Jamadhar
  • +9 Sapha Hood Full crit or +9FAW with crit (Debatable) [Or if you're happy with the crit rate without the hood or FAW,you can wear Asprika]
  • +9 Sapha Shoes[Firelock] Crit enchants
  • Rogue Treasure x 2

As for stats,

  • STR: 100+
  • AGI: 100-120
  • VIT: 70+
  • INT: 1~10
  • DEX: 1
  • LUK: 90+

This would be my ideal gears for MAX crit damage.

Gear:(Cards) +%Crit Damage

Upper Headgear: +12 (Angra Mantis) Little Feather Hat equipping a Sharp Arrow +28%

Mid Headgear: (Dark Pinguicula) Mid Gear OR Black Devil Mask

Lower Headgear: Advanced Assassin Mask +1%

Armor: +9 (Porcelio OR Elemental) Sapha's Cloth (The Sapha Set Comboe +40%)

Garment: +12 Sapha Hood +12%

Shoes: +9 (Firelock) Sapha Shoes. (Odium of Thanatos) if +12

Accessory: Sapha Ring

Accessory: Assassin Handcuffs

Weapon: +12 Fighting Spirit or +2 ASPD (2xAunoe/Paper) Chakram (+40% from the cards. +40% from Chakram+Sincuff Comboe)

That's a total of +161% Crit Damage!! The Cloth, +9 Hood and +9 Shoes can be enchanted with Sharp and Crit enchants so you won't even need luk. There is no reduction though.  :p_laugh:

Yes, to both questions. Raydric archers drop them, not sure if you can buy them, you only need one. :3

50 crit is needed with katars but every 5 luk the monster you fight has "decreases" your crit by 1%. So find the mvp you want to kill, check his luk and do math. :3

Drake has 71 luk, 71/5 = 14,2 We'll round that to 15. So you'd need 58 crit to have >=100% (116% with katars - 15% = 101% crit rate).

Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

i read on irowiki that your actual crit% and the 'cri' in the status are different. hence why some cards and equips say crit +x% others say cri +x and you need more than 50 cri to get 100 crit on 0 luk monsters

The factor of the mvp being agi,ed up wont matter?

just his luck?

That's what I'm interested in too. So if someone sheds more light into it, it would be much appreciated, not sure how correct the wiki is on that.

Crits bypass flee so agi up doesn't matter.

There's crit damage, and crit,

for example emh adds 10% crit, not 10% crit damage

10% crit is the same thing as adding 10 crit.

100%, or 100 crit is the same thing as seeing 50 with katar, or 100 crit on your status window

crit damage will say crit damage, for example glorious jamadhar "Increases critical attack damage by 20%."

while emh says "If refined to +7 or higher, Critical +10%."

versus little feather hat saying "Increases critical attack damage by 10%."

there's a clear difference here in the wording

i dont think 120 agi is a wise way, since you can easily reach 193 aspd with KVM, i think 90 is quite ideal

better spent those on vit and dex, since you definetly want you RC not missed alot anyway, and theres a moment when you need to use RC when mvp-ing or pve-ing not only just ctrl~click-spam pots.

according to irowiki forums and the irowiki stat page they are not the same and crit% is straight forward while to calculate your crit% from crit is a different formula and much lower

nobody here is talking about crit damage vs crit % its crit vs crit %

Taken from http://irowiki.org/wiki/Stats

CRIT

Critical Hit Rate: The Critical Hit rating, which increases damage by 40%. Offensive skills do not take CRIT into account except for a few exceptions like Focused Arrow Strike. Critical Hit also ignores Flee rate but not Perfect Dodge nor DEF. Critical Hit Rate is doubled when wielding a Katar type weapon.

  • Note: The Crit rate being displayed in the Status Window isn't the true value which is applied against monsters. The "status crit" is calculated by dividing current LUK by 3 and adding the Crit rate bonuses from equips/cards. The real Crit rate is a little different, as LUK × 0.3 + Bonus.

i was clarifying people's confusion in other posts about gears not directly directed to your question.

First, what you quoted from irowiki does not apply to your question at all. It's saying crit rate from your status window and total calculated crit rate is different. That may be. Since that goes for attack speed as well since it doesn't show decimal values. The quote literally just says status window crit is calculated by luck/3 + gears/cards while real crit is luck x 0.3 + gears/cards. 90 luck shown means 30 shown on the window while in reality is 27.

Crit and crit% are virtually the same thing as i said in my original post. There is no significance in its calculation with the total crit rate. What you see in the status window is luck/3 + crit + crit%. Crit% such as emh stack exactly the same as crit gears like morriganes manteau.

For someone who mained aspd crit gx and sinx, and has played it for years, I should know what I'm talking about especially as a person who does extensive research on the classes they play.

I have a CRIT5. SHARP1(Crit+6%). CRIT5. Sapha's Cloth (LUK+3) from the armor itself. A total of CRIT+17.

From what my stat windows show, +CRIT% = +CRIT. Other Sharp/CRIT enchant comboes all have the same results.
