Today we honor John Hurt, legendary actor. He has played the voice of Aragorn in the original Lord of the Rings, 1984's Winston, Kane, the ill fated victim of the Alien in Alien, Mr. Olivander, The Elephant Man, and The War Doctor in the Doctor Who 50th anniversary special and many more. 

 

Born to strict parents in Derbyshire, England, he was forbidden to see films growing up and his family and teachers tried their best to dissuade him from seeking to become an actor. He stuck to his guns and today is one of the most respected film and stage actors in England, able to infuse any project with some much needed gravitas. 

 

As the War Doctor he plays the lost precursor to Christopher Eccleston's 9th doctor. 

 

He plays the wand maker Mr. Olivander

 

He plays the stuffy villan in King Ralph

 

Also he was in Indiana Jones and the legend of the Crystal Pepsi,

Erundek NPC in the battlegrounds area will properly recognize Kagerou and Oboro when handing out ninja class gear.

Enriched hammer coming in and my missing 5,101 WP points ticket hasn't been helped for 2 weeks now so I am gonna miss the event for no reason. Warp portal has very bad customer service when it come to payment >.>

Sorry for the quesiton if it is rather basic but I am fairly new and not entirely sure on this event... is this when we used enriched ores to upgrade and have better chances of sucess but things will break if failed?

This is where you use enriched ores to upgrade your gears from +7 to +9. Failing will only downgrade the refinement of your gear. It won't break it.

Enriched Oridicon/Elunium + Enriched Hammer event

Normally, Enriched ores have a chance of breaking the item.

Periodically, on iRO, "Enriched Hammer" events are held. During these events, players can use Enriched Oridicon and Enriched Elunium by talking to the event NPC, Enriched Hammer on the second floor of the Eden Group. Enriched Hammer works exactly like Mighty Hammer does, only he takes more expensive Enriched ores, and his success rate is the same as Enriched ore, instead of normal ore. This makes upgrading significantly easier. It is recommended that you have at least 30 enriched ores before starting upgrading, and if you fall below 30 ores, you should stop upgrading when you get your gear back to +7 and buy more enriched ores before you resume upgrading.

Enriched Hammer cannot be used to upgrade from +9 to +10 - this is to protect the player, because the success rate when upgrading from +9 to +10 is the same for normal and enriched ores. To upgrade from +9->10, use HD ore and Mighty Hammer.

the success rate for +10 is fine the way it is. It doesn't need to be increased. the HD Bradium and Carnium aren't really expensive either to be fair. Is there really a need for a bulk box of these? not really. you just buy a couple of boxes and use them 5 at a time. sell the ones you don't use

Unfortunately, the pace of updates is set by our developer. We are able to create and run events from our side of the Pacific Ocean without having to wait for kRO creating it for us.

I don't see what your primary issue is with events on this server. It shouldn't affect your own personal game play which leads me to believe that you are personally offended when people have enquiries regarding their own personal gaming experience. If you don't like what they're requesting, ignore it. Simple. Frankly with all these posts you write moaning about what people ask for you sound like a miserable old man set in his ways.

 

Of course no one is going to ask for a decreased EXP event. They may as well ask for a 'temporary closure of the server' event. Why would someone ask to hold an event that would only have a negative impact?

 

I for one would welcome a bulk box of HD Bradium and Carnium. Not to get more for my money, by all means keep the same rates (there was no complaint regarding the cost on this thread anyway) but purely because it it is needlessly time consuming to constantly buy boxes of 5 until you cannot hold any more, opening each one individually, washing, rinsing and repeating. Especially considering the low success rate it would save a ton of time.
