Soo, whenever Ragnarok patched a week or two back, I guess it didn't patch all the way for me, for the towns still have snow and Christmas music playing. Would I simply re-download the patch from the main site or do I/should I do something else? I wasn't sure if downloading the renewal patch (the only one listed that I could find on playragnarok) would work or not.

Try the following:

• Close any and all open clients.
• Download this file.
• Navigate to the client folder in File Explorer/Windows Explorer.
• Replace the file patch.inf with the version you downloaded in step 2.
• Open the Renewal client.

The patch in playragnarok you mentioned is ancient.

Rats, I guess I should have mentioned I play on Classic. I'm not sure if that has any meaning, but I tried the steps above and Prontera still assaults me with Christmas

Hrm, that does not seem to work either

 

Edit: Urp, it DID work, I just had to make sure I had copied the right file first, d'oooooh.
