p.s. you'll probably want to hide the name of the player on the forums because of the forum rule thingy, but its ok to show the player's name in screen shots that are sent to warpportal support

Don't worry your english has improved over the years, if anything!

 

Definately smells like a scam though.

 

Personally, I don't report things... It's not my job to police the game.

 

If people are dumb enough to fall for scams, they have to learn from that in my opinion.

 

At least you we're wise enough to ask! Good job~

It is trying to trick you into thinking it is Facebook asking for login information.

 

If you click sign up, (from what this guy is asking to do) it goes to a 404 page.  Failure imo... If your gunna scam anyone you need to do it more professionally.

 

 

 

And as a word of advice, I always ROP(Something) if you don't know who they are.... TBH I am a stalker.

 

This guy is a level 1 novice.  

 

Can we limit PMs to level 10 and above?

This would help limit people like this, who just make accounts for garbage like this.

Had the same whisper from a GX with baphomet headgear today..i think someone fell in their trap and lost his account? filed a ticket in instantly.

Thank you for the heads up, I've already suspended the character indicated in the OP as well as several hijacked accounts. The MO for this user is to perform the facebook login style scam as noted above, they then strip the account of high value items to vend. Please let your friends know about this scam.

I think it is. I you post this sort of stuff in the forums, you need to black out the names of all players.  Though if you submit a ticket or send it to Oda/Campitor you forward the un-edited screenshot.

 

You say he tries this on Raidcall too? Mmmm...unfortunately that goes beyond iRO's capacities, I think.

Creo que sí.  Si publicas este tipo de cosas en el foro debes cubrir los nombres de los jugadores.  Sin embargo, si mandas un ticket o lo envías a Oda o a Campitor, debes mandar la imagen sin editar.

 

¿Dices que trata de hacer lo mismo a través de Raidcall? Mmmm...desafortunadamente eso escapa las funciones de iRO, creo.

But if it does benefits other players like giving them info about this so they won't fall for it, I guess it should be fine...
