Currently Assassins are based on poison effect skills which are underutilized because poison itself is too weak of a status effect.
Why not change the poison damage formula to make it actually worth something? Because poison is so worthless these 7 skills that cause or cure poison are also virtually worthless;
envenom, venom dust, venom knife, poison react, poison splasher, slow poison, detox
Enchant poison also could be worth a lot more of poison itself did more, so that makes 8 skills that could be improved with 1 change.
The purposed change is that instead of -1.5%+2 HP draining every second poisons drain modifier, if it was changed to 5.0%+100 HP draining every second suddenly the status effect and the skills based around it would become valuable
Doing this will greatly diversify thief and assassin pve, pvp, and skill build options to increase game depth and appeal overall. To counter it simply keep the current counters in play; green herb/potion, detox, high vit/luck, slow poison (might actually be worth something as well).
