Hi everyone. I've decided to make a rogue for pvm built for leveling sooo "PvM solo leveling" build? but I'm not really sure how to go with the skill tree. I've been to ro2base to find some rogue skill builds to use as guideline and this one here http://ro2base.com/b...1.1.8/0.0.0.0.0 looks reasonable. It has lvl 5 paradise but from "this noobs" perspective aren't skills like smoke bomb and dirty plan useful in pvm? And how about duel stab I would think that this skill is suppose to be the main dps combo starter skill, right?

If you guys don't mind please help me out and if possible help make a build that are good for leveling solo. I'd greatly appreciate this.

Random thought: You know......I really do hope that when I start leveling my rogue that sooner or later rogues can use bows just like RO and copy other classes skills. Most likely not but anyways...

Hi,

I would recommend this build. http://ro2base.com/b...1.1.1/0.0.0.0.0

the remaining 6 points goes to Ymir Child Transformation Lv3 and Rolling Cutter Lv3 to Lv6 (since the simu is outdated)

As you can see, most single target skills arent prioritized since in PvM you're practically mobbing than killing 1 by 1. Complete those single target skills when u buy 20 more skill points.

Rolling Cutter is your bestfriend (the DoT affects elemental weakness).

Gangster Paradise Max ofc

Smokebomb is useful on certain situation when you lured so much and GP/heal pet cant catch up.

Dirty Plan to get full combo charge + all skill reset giving u another Gangster Paradise to cast on rough situations.

I would also recommend u get 30sec Pet Cooldown plus a disabler pet (Executer Undead/Embus/etc), a Healing Pet (Sin Elder/Willow/etc) and a debuff pet (Garbong/Mermaid/Sohee/Kelberop).

Best of Luck

Thanks for the response. I understand mostly everything so far but I'm a returning player so I don't know what you mean by "buying 20 more skill points". Are you by any chance referring to the master system? Or some kind item/scroll bought from an npc later in the game?

Yeah I'll try to get those pets.

Well, it really depends on what you want to do once you are in a party with your friends.

If you feel like soloing your way to ML 20 then maybe <Rolling Cutter> will be your BFF, since it literally takes forever to get there :/

Right now, the max skill points is 69 (awesome number, huh?) considering the 20 you can buy once reaching the Master Levels, but those takes a whole lot of time to adquire, so then focusing on what you want at the end then planing a build for when you are level 25 and 50 for a more efficient leveling should be the way to go.

You still get a skill reset at level 35, so playing with your build should be possible to some extent.

I leveled my Rogue mainly by killing 1v1, and in such situation, Rolling Cutter really doesn't shine... it might, if its DoT were renew with each time it hit the target and increased its tier if it was a crit, but thats not the case, it will expire at 10 seconds and the only way to renew the timer is by increasing the tier, so once it reaches the 3rd tier, which is its max, it will dissappear in 10 seconds regardless of how much you repeat the skill, hence you are just wasting your time in a 1v1.

For mobbing I'll admit is an awesome skill, however, Rogues have the characteristic of being the class with the highest single target damage, given the new boosts to their signature nasty skills: <Mark of Death> and <Moonlight Drive>.

Oh well, I suppose we could just jump onto build recomendations:

For lvling from 1 to 50

Kill that boss!

Mobbing is all I care about

None of them is an end-game build, sooo its up to you xD

Thanks Leinzan. I'll think about your recommendations and Verinne. Since I'm getting a new skill reset at 35 I think I'm go mess around and use you guys builds as a guideline for my own unique build.

Thanks again everyone.
