I’m kinda new here, so it’s a pleasure for me to meet every one of you. I started playing RO since the beginning (Loki) and I returned last November to play again (Chaos). I’m not having problem in RO lately however after the Maintenance I encountered few errors while playing. Here’s the screen shot.

 

I already applied some steps I read to remove the error but unfortunately, I have no luck whatsoever. Here are the steps I already used:

Re-install RO
Re-downloaded missing patch
Re-patch (Admin Mode)
Forced Re-patch

When exactly does this error occur?

Likely when he comes within range of someone wearing a LoveLove Balloon since those are the files for it. They were introduced in patch #2472 - 2014-02-12data_gm_r.gpf.

Oh, there are replies, I thought there was none. Mozilla and Internet Explorer Cant view replies. Good thing I used Chrome. Anyway, back to the topic, I really don't know where the error is coming from, since this is the first time I got an error. I just noticed that when I go to Prontera and in Eden first floor, sprite error starts to spam my game. And secondly, when I go near the Octopus the one that drops octopus legs and the unicorn, sprite error comes again. But this just happened last day, after the maintenance.

I just tried it, several times yet no luck...  My patch always ends up in 2471 and i can't patch the 2014-02-12...

I don't understand. Do you mean the updater is failing to install updates? If so, then please describe exactly what happens when you attempt to update the client. You should include any relevant error messages in your description.

The error I am receiving is at the screen shot I posted. That’s the only error I have in the game. And upon reading, the sprite error occurs when you missed the most recent updates. So, whenever I reinstall the game, I see that the patch ends at 2471 2014-02-05data_gm_loading.gpf and couldn’t fetch the remaining patches. Thus, the error takes place while I play the game because of the missing patch. My firewall is cool with the game, I run the program using Admin Mode, last week it was good, but I don’t know why I couldn’t patch the remaining updates. Btw. Cpatch is running fine, all patches have been patched, no problem at all. Error is in Renewal only.

I just tried it, several times yet no luck...  My patch always ends up in 2471 and i can't patch the 2014-02-12...

 

I already tried it several times... I did everything I read in this forum but with no luck.... I saw some post with the same error yet still not working for me. I already submitted a ticket last day since it was indicated in here that "If the Sprite Errors should remain, please Submit A Ticket to the Warp Portal Support Team for further assistance." I'm patiently waiting for their response. I hope i'll get this fixed soon.

When I try Axylus's fix, my Patch Client is already repacked and “patch process completed” so “Play” game button already appears. I check Patch2 and the patch still ends at 2471 2014-02-05data_gm_loading.gpf

I tried to play the game, hoping it will run smoothly however as soon as I get in, the error is still there.

The patcher seems fail to write the latest patch into client, even it shows as "Complete".

Try deleting patch2.txt and repatch.

I deleted the file patch2, still ends at 2471.

What browser are you using? Do you still see the same page after pressing Ctrl+F5?

I’m using 3 different browsers? I usually use Mozilla… For Warpportal I used Chrome sometimes I.E. why? Is the patch client connected to the browser?
