I am a Lvl 95 wizard right now and trying to find a good fast cast build. Currently, I can't find a good build. So, has anyone found a good build that I can look up to? Also, what would be good equips?

Since the renewal, you can't really make a fast cast build as a wizard. I may be wrong, but with the variable cast being (Dex*2+Int)/530, it's hard to have those stats as a wizard (if not impossible)... I think focusing on damage would be a better option. Again, I may be wrong; maybe someone could add another insight for a fast cast build...

With the information that I have gathered from other builds. You mainly have to focus on damage. Thank you though anyways /heh :(

If you see the new cast formula, int is involved in reducing cast times e.g 90 int is equivalent to 45 dex. You can now both increase damage and reduce casttimes by having high int. Still casttimes can't be reduced beyond a certain point. So if you are able to obtain good casttime-reducing gear etc., you might get good casttime. But it is not a big deal either. In a huge party you will probably get strings.

I haven't played a wiz in renewal but it seems you may have to solo at some point. If that is so, the wiz card set might be a good set to have and it will complement your bolt skills.

The Mage card set is useless, especially if all you're after is cast time reduction (Mage set increases cast time by 15%). It doesn't matter how much INT and DEX you get, your spells will still have a fixed cast time that's only reducable a few ways, and even then you can't reduce it completely. Also, since cast times don't change a whole lot with higher DEX, a lot of Warlocks are actually reducing their base DEX in favor of VIT and LUK. Some keep it at 100, other put it all the way down at 60. I'm actually going with about 70.

If cast formula is (Dex*2+Int)/530 you can get variable cast reduction 0 with 177 ind and dex. But it's posible get 150 int and dex with blessing and geneticist foods if both stats are 120 :P

Genetic foods last 5 minutes so they can be quite expensive to maintain while leveling. A lot of Warlocks and Wizards are getting much lower DEX because it is not as helpful as it used to be. My Warlock has 60 base DEX and the difference between having 99 base DEX is barely noticeable.

I think he meant to do more damage with bolt, he didn't intend to reduce cast time by proposing the mage set (which I don't think is the best option anyway). Also, why LUK?

The majority of his post was about cast time, then said, "you'll have strings in a large party, but if you're solo the Mage set should help and increase bolt damage." Maybe I misinterpreted his post, but his wording suggests he meant to use the Mage set for cast reduction. As for the LUK, it increses MATK by one point for every 3 points of LUK.

Kind of useless IMO. I just checked and the ratio is actually 9:2. The equivalence in MATK correspond to 9 luk = 2 int...

My HW has 45 Dex, and his SG 10 cast time is almost the same as it was when he had 135 Dex.
