I bought 2000 WP and now i try clicking on the "convert WP energy" button on the warp portal website but nothing happens. i still have 2000 WP !! what do i do?

Ok, so i asked some people in the game. Apparently there is a bug issue for people who downloaded the game through steam. If the game was downloaded through steam, WP will have to purchased through steam and not through the WP website (which i did already). Does anyone know a solution to this? any help would be greatly appreciated
