So, I've tried out the new WoE 1.5 twice with a few guildies and wanted to open a topic about it since nobody is giving opinions.
WoE 1.5 seems indeed more amusing than the old one, a lot of guilds are joining and I've seen like 100-150 players in the map during the last WoE, but I feel there's still something missing, I can't tell what exactly, probably a mix of small unbalances between classes and some things missing in the overall plan.
I've always wondered if WoE should be a balanced map like colo. Fights would be more balanced, of course, but the victory or defeat of a guild would only depend on the number of players of a guild. I know it's like that even now (it's not a case Exodus has been the castle holder for months, it's probably the guild with the bigger number of active players in the game), but I'm still sure that a few strong players (rather than "strong", "well equipped" would be more appropriated probably, since the individual ability in pvp doesn't count much in WoE) can actually beat a lot of weak players, so a colo-like class balance would be a bad idea, after all.
Suggestions:
1)One interesting thing would be an "official" alliance system: basically, a list of your ally guilds would be shown in your guild window and players from those guilds can not be hit by you and players from your guild and vice-versa in WoE.
2)Add a small safety zone at the entrance of WoE. It's not nice to get beat like a pulp just after having warped and the map not having even loaded completely.
3) Add guild flags and emblems on the castles. It's not a vital point but it would look kinda cool.
It's all for now, I guess I'll add more suggestions if they come to my mind. I would appreciate other opinions too!
