I've actively played the Wizard class since iRO2 in May 2013 and an additional 5 years actively playing iRO 1 since 2004 and other MMOs - one being WoW. I have an in-depth familiarity with all things Wizard including various skills and stat builds. 

I have been active and continue to submit bug reports since July 2013 interacting with G/CM's on multiple occasions regarding bugs and improvements/suggestions specifically related to the Wizard class.   I've also played an active role in very early WoE testing with the GMs.

 

I'm very approachable and friendly. Being a former guild master, I've had the fortunate opportunity to interact with many old and new players in the community since the very beginning. I'm no stranger to conversing about the wizard class at any given time. I'm experienced and skillful in both written and verbal communication - I can be the voice of the voiceless.   I have many ideas how to improve this class and make it appealing again.

 

What future do you want for your class:

I feel the wizard class needs to stick with being superb damage dealers and  versatility.  This would start at improving/fixing some of the key changes made after the AoV update.  Key advantages for a Wizard class should be to excel over most if not all classes at effective DPS - damage over time, massive AoE and an effective kill/finisher skill.  In addition, versatility in a broad spectrum of skills and useful utility skills should be the secondary focus.   I and many others would like to see the Wizard class be the most fun class to play again as it was in early RO1 for PvE and PvP.

Why is my name a number @__@... anyway the reasons are:

 

1) I have the priviledge to have spent a lot of time some of the best wizards on the server and been guildmates with some them.

Through that I am constantly able to pick up, keep up to date and compare myself with the people who are at the top.

The number 1 criteria in my opinion is that a VCR has to be good in their class, have access to other good players of the same class to make comparisons and also be passionate about their class.

I am extremely passionate with the wizard class, always eager to prove they can keep up and out do other popular classes.

As such, I am sensitive towards issues and imbalances for the wizard down to the minute details.

 

 

2) I joined iRO2 in the first week it was launched maining the wizard character last year.

I used to main the wizard class while playing on mRO1 between 1998 - 2005 which is also why I decided to continue playing the same class.

I have experienced war of emperium as a wizard in RO1 in the few years that I was playing that game as well as in RO2.

Part of the fun of MMOs is the study of the mechanics in the game and experimentation of different builds.

Having played a wizard for a long time, I have knowledged of different builds and their advantages/disavantages to be able to discuss.

 

 

3) When it comes to the handling queries and communities, I am part of a team that manages an e-commerce website which also have a forum.

In the forum environment, we had to work hard to keep the large number of members and visitors happy.

Through having done that, I understand the difference between making a complaint and a constructive comment.

I wish to assure the management here that I am able to feedback constructively.

 

 

What future do you want for your class:

1) Traditional RO1 skills for a stronger RO wizard flavour. For example, Storm Gust and Soul Strike for wizards

2) Balance in PVP against certain classes and Improved usefulness in raids
3) RO1 HIGH WIZARD COSTUME in RO2~<3

The Wizard VCR is about PROVIDING feedback and LISTENING to what other wizard players say about what the class is lacking and how it can be improved in the future. It is to select the best representatives for us. You have an equal opportunity to represent the class and gather the opinions from other players such as yourself. I highly recommend you nominate yourself.

You don't have to feel like you can or can not nominate yourself due to chance or popularity because frankly if you're not already pointing out bugs and balance/suggestion debates then being a VCR or not is pointless.

Don't make the role seem more than what it is. Just do what the game simply needs.

Ill nominate myself after Ive came up with 3 good reasons why it should be. I love my class its a lot of fun to play and right now in its current state it feels underwhelming I have been playing this class since the beginning of the game minus my hiatus for a few months.
