Bug Fixes

 

   -Quiver cannot be refined now

   -The Weekly Ranks will now reset at 5am, instead of twice over the weekend. 

   -The Gladiator Rankings will now show correctly in the Ranking window

   -The Chocolatier Khara Title has been fixed and will give double stats until March 26

 

Honing Update

 

   1. System

      A. The Honing system has been re-balanced and will be implemented

      B. New Kafra Items related to Honing will be added to the Kafra Shop

      C. Holgren's Honing Powder Box will be removed from the Kafra Shop. (If you already have this item, you will not be affected).

 

   2. Balancing

      A. To balance the increased power players will get from Honing, monsters will get additional penetration stats

          -Penetration means ignoring a percentage of the player's defense stat. For example, if a player can defend 75% from Osiris boss attacks now, he/she will defend 65% after the new update.

          1. Normal monsters in the Tomb of Osiris and Dayr Desert will get an additional +150 Penetration

          2. Monsters in Dayr Temples will get an additional +200 Penetration

          3. Bosses in the Tomb of Osiris will get an additional +500 Penetration

 

   3. Honing Items

 

      A. New Items in Kafra Shop

         1. Honing Polish Robust Cube

             Choice of getting:

            - HP Honing Polish

            - SP Honing Polish

         2. Honing Polish Potent Cube

             Choice of getting:

             - Physical ATT Honing Polish

             - Magic ATT Honing Polish

             - Hit Honing Polish

         3. Honing Polish Guardian Cube

             Choice of getting:

             - Defense Honing Polish

             - Parry Honing Polish

             - Dodge Honing Polish

         4. Honing Polish Assault Cube

             Choice of getting:

             - Critical Honing Polish

             - Vigor Honing Polish

             - Haste Honing Polish

         5. Honing Polish PvP Cube

             Choice of getting:

             - Dmg Increase PvP Honing Polish

   A. Chocolatier title had it's stats halved by accident on 3/5. It will return on 3/9 and be extended to 3/19.

THIS IS A GOOD HONING

It affect only the secondary stats and not the primary ones so they don't go in conflict whit red and green runes (not that i care about them so much)

it give us more possibility to customise our gears whitout broken soo much the mechanics (this has to be tested duer to the unknown caps  to each stat)

Until the day AGI will not be fixed I'll buy only this :Honing Polish Potent Cube to gain HIT unless it will be avaiable only for weapons (and this would be a really nice thing)

That's haste I assume.

Zanbee, please confirm this? Honing haste is the same as honing cast speed? Because iirc red seed runes (hit/vigor/haste) don't add to cast speed right now (feel free to correct me if they do, last time I swapped out my red seed flame runes on my gear for a higher % my cast speed remained the same, but my cd's were shortened).

Although i'm against this whole honing idea i hope this patch works the way it was intended.

Those honing polishes are the 100% stat hone? Also how much per box? As much as fusion tablets maybe? Or uh. Infiniums? :v

 

Did you/they check everything that can be done to the honed gears? Mailing, trading, putting up in AH, unequipping, moving it around different places it can be put (storage, each of your bags, guild storage, etc.), upgrading, enchanting/disenchanting with an element or an embroidery, etc. and made sure nothing about the item changes?

Lol are you seriously removing the skill reset for applied no element -.- if anything remove the union points or chance coupons
