If you have to ask that question, then it's definitely not a good choice.

i havnt been online in a while (forum and ingame) and decided il edit the OP for everyone benefit after seeing this got necroed

edit: OP edit is complete added the recipes given by the users and added proof where i could
also iv made it a little easier on the eyes for a quick use

I think they just do that sometimes. I'm pretty sure its only a visual glitch though, you should still be receiving the usual bonus from it.
