After logging into https://warpportal.com/ I try to access the power-up link

It sits on loading for a long time on this page https://secure.warpp...nt/iovation.grv

before giving me a "problem loading page" error

I've tried on firefox, internet explorer and on a couple of different computers with no luck (same problem).

any ideas?

If you run any addons with your web browser that would behave like an antivirus, or popup blocker, or traffic filter then you will want to turn them off or allow for exceptions for the website.

It would seem this issue is something to do with Location or Routing (or something similar)

Using a proxy service I can access the power-up page after logging into my account.

I'm currently in South Korea, would this be causing some sort of issue?

Interesting, I will check up on this first of next week and see if there is something that would cause problems.

Thank you very much for looking into it for me.

Is there any other way to get a premium account set up?

Just bumping this up to hopefully get a reply sometime today.

I've tried tor and jap with limited success (can open the payment page and select values but not get much further).

If it doesn't seem like something that could be fixed soon/quickly could you pop me a message here/private.

I'll go about looking for a paid/friend proxy service to use to access the power-up page if this is the case.

Thanks again.

Can you give me some information about what proxy solution are you using?

In order for you to process that page you need Javascript and Flash running in your web browser.

I've tried using the following

Tor - http://www.torproject.org/ - Able to log in and open up the option window to select payments
Jap - http://anon.inf.tu-d...e/index_en.html - Able to do the same as ToR but slower
http://www.hidemyass.com/ - Able to do everything relatively quickly

I'm not prepared to use a free service and plug in any sensitive data so I didn't proceed any futher than that.

Outside of using a proxy service I reach the same noload issue.

I've tried using Google, Firefox and IExplore to access from 4 different computers at my work and home. I've disabled all AV solutions as well as enabled java script/flash and disabled/removed addons like noscript.

All of them allow me to log in here - https://www.warpport...ount/login.aspx
Show me account info here - https://www.warpport...nformation.aspx after logging in
I can view my accounts and change/edit/update here - https://www.warpport...meaccounts.aspx

When I click on the powerup link this page starts loading https://www.warpport...nt/payment.aspx
It sits there waiting for a moment before sitting on "connecting to secure.warpportal.com"

After about 10-20 seconds I have this address in the address bar https://secure.warpp...nt/iovation.grv and the following error message...

The connection has timed out

The server at secure.warpportal.com is taking too long to respond.
* The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few
moments.
* If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network
connection.
* If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure
that Firefox is permitted to access the Web.

I've sent you a PM with a tracert to secure.warpportal.com in case that helps.

Thanks again for your time.

Did some poking around the interwebs...

http://forums.roseon....asp?tid=110273 - Similar issue with Rose
https://secure.gravi...se/iovation.grv - Timeout error for me when loading this page as well

http://forums.playre...ded&setCookie=1 - Similar issue with Requiem
https://secure.gravi...em/iovation.grv - Timeout error for me when loading this page as well

Seems this is not a unique issue. Getting very frustrated (Have attempted to load the page over 200 times now from my home computer without success).

Yes.

Updated to the latest version.

Same timeout error.

It's doubtful it's anything on my computer(s) since I can access it via a proxy. It's either 3 different Korean ISPs (SKT, Hana, LG), your ISP or your code =(.

Well I got a proxy set up and now I can see how horrible the payment methods are.

Tried with paypal, as soon as I click the value and paypal then process order I get this message...

For your protection in preventing identity theft and fraud, all accounts attempting to use the PayPal or Credit Card method are manually verified by Gravity Interactive based on registered account information. This process may take up to 24 hours to complete depending upon the time of day. All payments made prior to being accepted will not be processed. You will receive a confirmation Email once this process has been completed. If you still receive this message 24 hours after your first attempt or have any questions about this process, please contact our payment department via the Warp Portal Support Center.

Well that's ok I guess, except that it might have been nice to send this out when you REGISTER the account rather than when you EVENTUALLY get to the payment options. It also doesn't give me any real indication about what you are doing and why I should have to wait...

So since I've been really wanting to play I check out the other options. Ultimate Game Card has been popping up everywhere so I track down ways to get them. ultimategamecard tells me I can get them from playspan, so I go register an account over there and attempt to buy it using paypal. Appears it's going through when I get a rejected by paypal message after it processes my order. Paypal account sees the transaction but has already reversed it. 5 more tries later I give up.

Next option is credit card, same as paypal, have to wait. I don't think I had to wait like this when I decided to get a credit card...

Ultimate pay is basically the last option I have and I'm greeted by a similar window from the playspan website. After logging into my paypal account and clicking pay I also manage to get the same error...

While I hate to generalise I would imagine that you probably lose a moderate number of potential customers as a result of the pretty useless support and lacking billing system.

Oh well, guess I have to wait another day for a confirmation email...

Mind you, what exactly are you going to be confirming...? oh that's right you didn't tell me.

Cause if you're making a phone call to the house back in Australia, I'm sure my tenants are going to know what the hell is going on...

/sigh...

I'm still not able to access any page on the warpportal domain except for the forums this started at the same time as gateway broke.

and this sucks because

Black Friday Sale(11/26 ONLY):
-Sales on Inventory Expansion items: 400P

I wanted to take advantage of this to get expanders for myself but i cant because everything is down (times out sometimes gives 503 server error) not just gateway i can not buy WP energy (so i also can not take advantage of the 140% offer for thanksgiving)

I also have trouble accessing the websites very often. The recent (today/yesterday) issues are due to DDOS attacks (hackers). -->

Looks like we are currently under another DDoS attack on the website and are trying to resolve it as soon as possible, if you have any issues to report, you can still contact support at http://support.warpportal.com

Was posted by a staff member in another part of the forum.

Edit: I said I could acces the main sites again, I take that back. Still down for me as well :D
