Scaraba lvl 2! HELP! 133 Sorc...

How do people do 10k+ dmg per Pwave hit on monsters in Scaraba lvl 2?

 

My info:

lvl 133 Sorc

114 base INT

100 AGI (I use cast time reduction gears instead of DEX)

95 VIT

2x Telekenetic Orbs

2x Pinguicula La'Cryma Stick or Kronos

 

With Agni out to enchant Pwave with fire property I only do 5-6k damage per wave to Antler Scaraba.

 

How do people hit for 10k per wave?

100 agi?
You can get bleed and sleep immunities with ungoliant and nightmare respectively.

Antler scaraba has a very high mdef giving it about 45% reduction from magic damage.

 

With 114 int and base level 133 and the mentioned equips/buffs you'll need 855 mATK to kill an antler scaraba in one psychic wave.

You can also use Agni lv 2 to hit them with fire, which deals more damage to scarabs.

Pardon me if i'm wrong, but Sorc's spirit can change the element of PW.
 
Elemental Spirits in Level 2 Passive mode can endow the elemental property of this skill.

I think the problem was his gear/INT buff.

which one better actually, +13 TSOD sp 4 4 with +9 Skull cap[KK] or +13 Lacryma stick [pinguicula x2] with +9 CoD[KK]

the TSOD skull cap combo is better. Nothing will beat out the set bonus of the tsod skull cap. But sorc dmg is scaled off total int, not MATK. Int is directly in the formula. MATK is just added at the end.

mATK is multiplied with int so getting high values of both is important.

 

+13 TSOD sp 4 4 with +9 Skull cap[KK]

Base mATK: 160

Refine Bonus: 28~144

Equipment : 160 + 8%

Status mATK: ? i don't know your stats

 

Total: (160+160+28~144+smATK)*1.08

= 375~501 + smATK*1.08

 

+13 Lacryma stick [pinguicula x2] with +9 CoD[KK]

 

Base mATK: 180

Refine Bonus: 25~89

Equipment : 30 + 10% + 20% = 30 + 32%

Status mATK: ? i don't know your stats

 

 

Total: (180+30+25~89+smATK)*1.32

= 235~299 + smATK*1.32

 

TSOD is better

I don't have the sorc forumla's memorized, but if i remember correctly, matk is not part of their dmg calculations. And there is a physical portion of varytr spear, but thats about it.

 

 

rather, i think what im trying to say is, MATK stacks additively, while int is a multiplier

 

meaning MATK, is just a number tacked on at the end of the damage calculation

I think +130 matk combo beats anything,

unless you can get +50 int buff permanently to increase your loss MATK

 

varetyr spear kinda suck unless you have prepared double insignia (wind and water) to your target

Damage formula is kinda complicated, consisted of weapon base matk, equipment matk, upgrade level, percentage modifier, low-max MATK damage (because without recognized spell). Not just skill base damage itself.

 

but I rather confuse about base level that can increase damage from 100% to 150%... something like FBH? :questionmark:

I can't believe reading a table is so hard.

look we can keep arguing about this, but Toxn's link forumla is the one i remember, and the one i tested with

 

Its easy to test.

 

once i get home from work, i'll post 2 screenies, one with an FAW +14 int, and i'll put on an RWC pendant with 2x spell3s, the MATK added from the RWCs should be > the MATK from the 14 int, (5). lets see which one does more dmg.

 

HInt its the int one.

I can't believe reading a table is so hard.

 

Anyways you said mATK is added to the end which is completely wrong.If you had 1million int and 0 matk you'd deal 0 damage.(assuming you can get 0 matk with 1m int)

 

 

reading a table is hard especially if table doesn't have what you're pointing at.
