Our guild is called FruitTarts and since we all draw I thought I could share my things here. If you like my pictures you can find my non-RO2 stuff at guobia.tumblr.com. 

 

 

 

Bananie: Healer, Priest. The Guild Leader. 

• A hardass with a heart of iron: She Who Gets Things Done. 

Bananie has a harsh nature. Cold and calculating, she is extremely organized and detail-oriented. In any situation, you can rely on her.

 

Tristiana: Offtank/DPS, Warrior.

• Give me my sword and I'll cut a path ahead
  I may bleed or break but always will my visor be facing forth.

She has a motherly nature. Tristiana hails from a long line of Knights but is determined to shape her own identity through sheer force. Makes the best creampuffs. She's always up for a drink (or ten), but mess with her younger brother and she will forcefeed you your own entrails. 

 

 

 

Bonnie: Main Tank, Monk.

• Kitten with the claws of a tiger,

  She is the Poring Whisperer.

A young novice Monk from Chung-Lim, she is on a quest for spiritual enlightenment and dessert. She's got a sweet tooth the size of a small house- aren't Monks supposed to be above that sort of thing?  She's kind of dumb, but she is the guild's main source of Cuteness. Can Bonnie really talk to Porings?! 

 

 

 

Vinalia: DPS, Ranger (but seriously you can't be a Ranger and not be DPS).

 

• The road is winding and my path is unclear, but no matter what I'll shoot, and I'll shoot strong. 

She's shy and timid, which is not the best trait to have when you always want to be surrounded by people. May or may not be with Bonnie. Kind of. Not really. It's complicated. Really complicated. 

 

 

Komiji: Hybrid, Sorcerer 

• Wait, there are problems that LOV can't solve? Are you sure? Are you completely sure? Are you really, really, really sure? 

Flamboyant, eccentric dancer, but the most reliable one in the guild after Bananie. A resourceful jack-of-all-trades, he normally joins in on the offense but in a pinch can play a supporting role.

Thank you- I don't really have a set style (you probably can see) but I like to switch around.

 

I keep trying- maybe someday I'll catch up to LokaSenna's art level haha!! ^^" I have to work harder.  ^^"

 

A character picture of Vinali, the Ranger. She is powerful but with low accuracy. Although she is deathly afraid of being alone, she is shy and timid.

That's really kind of you to say, thank you! ^^" I'll keep trying to improve. I mean I don't really have any signature style, like with some people, you look at a picture and go "Oh, that's definitely so-and-so's picture." I change so much from one picture to the next even I get confused..

 

I'm hardly qualified, but if I had once piece of advice it would be to do a lot of still life when you're coloring. There's no way to learn to color different things like metal, cloth, and skin without it.

 

Also I drew what I think Bonnie (the Monk, Desert Scorpion gear) would look like in real life. She's supposed to be really pretty and sweet-faced, but that didn't really work out here.

Hello again! I'll keep working hard. XD Thank you- and yes, I use photoshop for everything because it's the only software I know how to use. What do you use, out of curiosity?

 

Thank you Chocs- realism is what I always go back to when I'm looking at or trying to draw art, haha. Maybe because it's as objective as art can be?

 

Sketch of Bananie. She doesn't look very stern or cold in the picture though, so I guess I'll redraw her expression before I color it.

I don't know how to post videos, but I'm working on writing image songs for the FruitTarts. The only one complete so far is Bonnie's song. Tristiana and Bananie's songs still need accompaniment, and Vinalia and Komiji's are still in drafting stages.

Thank you, I've trying to be more focused on my lighting. ^^" 

I've always liked Elvgren's pinups, especially the stylization of skin tones to promote a more cohesive overall image, and for his more self-contained, compact works. I also like the mix of "glamorous," "sexy," and "cute." Bonnie is not glamorous, but I felt that the mix of "sexy" and "cute" is what I want to portray her as.

 

My entry to Team Deviling. Now that I got Djoser gear, I need to relearn how to draw her clothes...I don't know what I'm going to do when the rest of the guild levels up too.

This is why you don't stop drawing for two months. You get -_-ty faster than you get better, haha. Like trying to build muscle: two months to build, two weeks to lose.
