wait. what if someone didnt download the first patch that messed things up and went straight to this second patch that they are making? it doesnt matter does it?

Nope because you gotta download both for the game to function I believe, basically it will just take longer for people to update if they didnt already get the first patch.

They will probably upload a new patch with the fixed data within it, we will have to patch it all over again, but this time with the fixed files or with the files that were missing.

They won't just throw the remaining/fixed files into a patch lol

If I knew the answer I would tell you. I just downloaded the game today. I have been busy with life and just got it today. Then I go to patch, wait for maintenance to be over and get that message.
