2 additional quest that has no description and with "Unknown Characters" just showed in my quest display for no reason. here's a screenie.

  So curious... How could it be possible? I think it is a bug (probably it will be fixed today)... But that "ID=....." is suspicious. Probably it will be gone soon.

This looks like the client just missed the patch containing the quest log entries for some new quests...

hi i saw this thread somewhere around. cant seem to find it= so how do we fix this quest window that shows (null) &@!@& and random characters

I think this just means you missed patches - since only a few people seem to be seeing it. Try repatching, or force repatching if it doesn't patch automatically. 

 

You're seeing quest entries that your client doesn't have the data for, so all it can display is the ID and (null) since it's got nothing to display.

I re-installed the game and re-patched everything but
they are still there the weird characters with (null)
nothing in active quest like the first post picture

one of my friend also encounter the same issue
I think this is not just a few people isn't it

It's not a missing update. I re-installed iRO repatched etc. what I've noticed BEFORE I reinstalled, I tested it on my other chars that didn't have that "Null Quest" once I've taken the Eden Gramp TI quest it gave my other characters that Null quest. it "might've" been an encoding during Gramps TI quest during last week's Elder/Alarm TI maintenance.

Same problem. Patch needs to be updated.

These were part of the April Fools events. Next week Gramps will start deleting them.
