Hi,

I guess you are running Windows 7 or Windows 8 ?

Try to download and install this:

http://www.microsoft...s.aspx?id=34429

(No viruses, it's from the genuine microsoft website)

Should work then.

Please let me know.

Another problem could be an outdated or not-installed graphics card driver.

If it doesn't work after installing the DirectX 9 from the above link, you should consider to update/install your

graphics card driver.

Greets from Germany,

Yuri

That issue occurs sometimes when you play in Full-Screen. If that's the case, let us know!

I am having that problem too. But only when I try to run full screen. Is there some way to fix that?

What system do you have?

Windows Version, Desktop or Notebook PC, more than one monitors connected?

Or a notebook with an external monitor connected to it?

I have an HP laptop running on windows 8. But I do have it connected to my TV due to a cracked screen.

I think, that your fullscreen problem could have something to do with the resolution your TV needs for playing in fullscreen.

I read more than once - not here, but also for other games - that there are problems with external connected displays to notebooks.

I guess that Dragonica is in fullscreen not able to initialize DirectX (the windows graphics interface) in fullscreen mode with the resolution your tv needs.

Therefore I assume that there can't be done anything.

If you have the possibility to try out connecting a "real" monitor (LCD or whatever) to the laptop, I recommend to try that out to check wether this is the problem or not.

Another problem could be Windows 8. Windows 8 has a completely overworked system architecture and it is known to have some problems with some older games (and Dragonica can't be treated being "new" game).

Sorry that I can't tell you more at this moment. I wish I could, but I think playing in windowed mode is the only way for you to play at the moment.

With friendly greets from Germany,

Yuri (and his cool cat ;-) )

Windows 8-8.1 has issues with Dragon Saga in general. The Full screen is still being worked out.

This is no real solution. By setting this to '0' you are not playing in fullscreen.

But Heavensangel348 wanted to play in fullscreen rather than playing in windowed mode.
