Crescentia's 6 stands out a lot... and that's clearly without Ignition because Alter is half as much...

Now if only PAtk had a chance to keep up with MAtk...

Hp NERF!

Vit = 15 > Vit = 12!

Class bonus =
Warrior = Vit > 13hp
Knight > Vit > 1 def
Beastmaster = Vit > 1 def, 15
Monk = Vit > 2def



Aand Rogues 1 agi = 2dodge and 2 crit O.O

Fine by me!

 

 

Wonder how knights would react on this, now the spotlight for VIT per defense shines on Monks now.  :chomok01:  :chomok02:  :chomok03:  :chomok04:  :Emo_12:  :Emo_13:  :Emo_14:  :Emo_15:  :Emo_16:  :Emo_17:

Yay knights will go from 3 parry per str to 1. so basically i can kiss my already low 38% parry rate good bye and say hello to something like 20- 25% parry?  wohoooooooo

Im hoping its another typo lol...

don't forgot even though Agi bonuses are being lowered you'll now be getting better stat boosts on equipment to even it out somewhat. As a ranger my crit went from 37% to 32% from this patch.

Wait, so are the changes from that other thread going into this Maintenance or not?

This patch is all about the related stat-based changes they are envisioning. Further updates they said (such as skill updates) are scheduled for future patches.

So we are going to fix stats but they are not intended for your current skills. We'll put the skills in later though and fix the ones you have to work correctly eventually.

Yep, more or less.  Some classes like Ranger and Warriors aren't receiving an overhaul so our skills, except the existing broken ones (or the ones we want to change) won't be adjusted.  So for the most part those 2 classes should be near their peak performance according to the Class Balance.

Everyone has a defense cap at 75% after that it just gives diminishing returns.  I think I understand what he's talking about, being that everyone can have such high defense still.  I'm not entirely dissatisfied with how our increased HIT affects the def/dodge/parry.  Did some battles in and out of Osiris gear with +18 on my jacket and I wasn't upset.  Seems pretty good so far.  Now I'm sure there is going to be room for some improvement here and there but I think these Stats are a huge step in the right direction.

I hope for temporary Skill/Stat resets services from regular Kafra agents around Midgart... they were promised every time that a major change would happen, with this new stat change scheme and new hit formulation, some skills and build will become pretty obsolete. I would want to change my build if it becomes a joke without investing money.

Well, since a lot of people are asking why rogues have an edge in terms of class stats, I'm gonna try to enlighten them.

1. Our class still has the crappiest weapon in terms of stats to the point that our class bonuses barely makes up for it
2. Dodge is obsolete since Hit rate is so high
3. Attack Power is still useless
4. Our skills don't hit hard like other class skills do (Except Moonlight Dance)

Basically, this patch will make rogues kill a single target faster but lesser in amount due to the fact that everyone's HP/Vigor got nerfed.
MD cooldown prior is around 9-10sec. This patch makes it around 14-15sec. (Based on my rogue)
What do you do with those combo points while waiting 15 seconds for MD to reset? Double Attack/Deadly blow. Yes, thief skills.

If you want to hear brilliant fixes, run to billy. He has a lot.
If you want to give your own, please post on the rogue thread. We will be happy to bump heads with you guys.
Rogues are nearing extinction like what happened to monks and we need your help!

I'll probably waste my time doing those anniversary events to even bother with PVP anyways.

Stat resets will probably be in your Temporary Box Storage, but there won't be an NPC selling anything like previously.  Skill resets aren't coming from what I've heard since skills have not changed yet.

The HP nerf I've been advocating for <3 Thank Odin, it's about time.

SP nerf coming out before skill balance on the other hand may be a setup for qq-storm. Can any magic class VCRs confirm that the SP changes to skills will make up for it in the long run? If not, then ka-ching Dayr Blue pots.
