Fine by me!
Wonder how knights would react on this, now the spotlight for VIT per defense shines on Monks now.

This patch is all about the related stat-based changes they are envisioning. Further updates they said (such as skill updates) are scheduled for future patches.Wait, so are the changes from that other thread going into this Maintenance or not?

So we are going to fix stats but they are not intended for your current skills. We'll put the skills in later though and fix the ones you have to work correctly eventually.
Yep, more or less. Some classes like Ranger and Warriors aren't receiving an overhaul so our skills, except the existing broken ones (or the ones we want to change) won't be adjusted. So for the most part those 2 classes should be near their peak performance according to the Class Balance.

what are you talking about. i thought sins and wizards were supposed to have defense cap just like me a knight
Everyone has a defense cap at 75% after that it just gives diminishing returns. I think I understand what he's talking about, being that everyone can have such high defense still. I'm not entirely dissatisfied with how our increased HIT affects the def/dodge/parry. Did some battles in and out of Osiris gear with +18 on my jacket and I wasn't upset. Seems pretty good so far. Now I'm sure there is going to be room for some improvement here and there but I think these Stats are a huge step in the right direction.

I hope for temporary Skill/Stat resets services from regular Kafra agents around Midgart... they were promised every time that a major change would happen, with this new stat change scheme and new hit formulation, some skills and build will become pretty obsolete. I would want to change my build if it becomes a joke without investing money.

Stat resets will probably be in your Temporary Box Storage, but there won't be an NPC selling anything like previously. Skill resets aren't coming from what I've heard since skills have not changed yet.

The HP nerf I've been advocating for <3 Thank Odin, it's about time.
SP nerf coming out before skill balance on the other hand may be a setup for qq-storm. Can any magic class VCRs confirm that the SP changes to skills will make up for it in the long run? If not, then ka-ching Dayr Blue pots.
