is hit affect rolling cutter to hit or not? i was gonna go pure crit with rolling cutter for aoe

You will definitely need Dex for Rolling Cutter....enough said.

Need DEX, most likely impossible to AOE with RC with 1 DEX. I have 50 DEX and 60 LUK (it gives HIT) and I still sometimes miss on monsters lower than my level.

It is viable if you're willing to spend on hit/dex food. But even that will

As you can see, if you want to hit with RC, u need about 430hit+. 

 

With 1 dex, You would need following for optimally leveling in Scaraba Hall without dex.

 

6/6 FS katar (+10 hit)

3/3+ FS nab shoes (+8~10 hit)

BDM(+2 dex)

WCP(+3 dex, 3% hit)

Double RT(+20 hit at 90str) (or Vesper Core 4(no str required and 10 hit and +3 dex)

Triple FS(5/5/5 minimal) +9 FAW ( 15 hit)

Schwartzwald Pine Jubilee(+10 hit)

Siroma Ice Tea(+20 dex)

VIP buff(+7 dex or something)

And you will end up with 440~450 hit. with 1 dex.

 

I wouldn't really recommend doing this unless you don't mind spending many consumables.

For tough to hit mobs i just use a +9 Drill Katar w/ dual FS enchants slotted with a mummy card. Which is an extra 60 Hit.

Damage is ok as long as you use edp and converters. May take you an extra spin or two compared to a WBC.

 

An alternative to that would be a +12 Agent Katar (+1 Hit for every 2 Luk) which would net you an extra 30 Hit at 60 luk, an extra 45 hit at 90 luk, and so on. It can also be slotted with a mummy card for more hit.

 

Personally i don't like to constantly using consumables to get Hit, so i would much rather invest some dex, plus dex adds atk and some aspd so its not totally useless to a crit build.
