If any of the cleric representatives wants to add me on FB, or skype or join the Ventrilo server we use, or w/e please let me know.  I am not sure the best way for us to chat, make suggestions, ask questions.  shoot ideas off of each other.  Suggestions?

 

Also, what or where would be the best place to put a cleric question/suggestions/help type topic for newer players or those that are not sure of what changes happened etc.? I guess we can make a sticky post in Muse or under Cleric for Questions?  Suggestions? etc.  

 

Excited to talk to all of the great clerics that are representing the class!

Hi Jiggly.  Destiny has updated the cleric guide a lot but things still keep changing.  What type of cleric do you ultimately want - Full Support, Battle Cleric, one for PVP wars?

 

Charm still influences buffs and heals the most, but if you actually want to hit things while leveling it will be slow going if you don't have int.  Personally, for a full support, I would go most points in Int so that if you can't find a party you can still hit things and have some defense, etc and for leveling I would recommend the swords summon (you can get 3-4 of them).  Then add charm as you add heals and buffs.  Then once you are max level reset to charm and int and start gathering charm gear.  If you want to be a battle cleric then you will end up going mostly int I assume and with summons like the sword you will do pretty well.   

 

Good luck and feel free to ask us anything about the cleric here.  And yes, follow Destiny's guide but keep in mind things still keep changing.

Hey, so I went full aoe and offense to speed up levelling, I've been able to get parties at the major levelling spots and I'm level 212 atm. Going to reset into a FS cleric, but I do want to do some Cd in the future. Is it possible to have maximum buffs (+65) while having a decent build for war/pvp?

I'm going to copy and paste what I replied to one of my PM from other people. The skill build is here, it is a build for both PvM and PvP, you will have +65 buffs and you will tank a lot more better when you reach Lv.220 because you can finally use the sopdu shield of tutankhamun. Remember, there is no such thing as support/battle hybrid cleric, if you try to do that, it is going to fail immediately because their stat build contradicts.

The skill build will look like this, pay attention Summon mastery on Cleric tab is Lv.1, you only need that to get two mana flame or two salamander flame. Also, I leave you 9SP on purpose, to allow you to have a chance to get unique skills, they are very good indeed. Summoner's gift (5SP), Purify (2SP), Integrity (2SP) and Item mall soul restore (0SP)



Remember this skill build do not have any revive skill, since I asked you to get Item mall soul restore, but if you don't want to get any unique skills and item mall skills with those 9SP. Then you can learn Lv.1 soul revive (1SP), and spend the 8SP on either Meditation or Mystic eye on Common tab.



And for stat, as I mention just get 400CHA 279INT, assuming you are Lv.230.

Wow, this is exactly what I was looking for, thx! I know that you need 1084 charm for +65, do you happen to know the other values, like +64, 63, 62 etc... Not sure if I am going to be able to afford getting max buffs right away ;(

20 charm = +1 all stats.

60 int = +1 all stats.

Not 100% sure, but I believe you need at least 330INT and 1070CHA to be +65 and if you are 390INT and 1090CHA, you will be +67.
