Hammer gives around the same stun rate as shield bash now due to shield bash's nerf not  to mention you can max hammer to 10/10 for a higher stun rate. The cooldown is also 1 sec and it is good with time reverse for f7 mobs. With the nerfs on cooldowns taking awakening skills are more viable for damage in terms of pvp. The pally awakening skills both provide super armor and does at least 6-8 hits on use which is good with element damage. Like the awakening skills, spear jab, shoulder tackle, and aerial smackdown provide super armor on use. I don't know what level this guide is for but you can take 1/5 for aerial smackdown and put some into hammer. And by the looks of the sp placment at lvl 85 there should be enough sp for awakening skills too which should be maxed for lowered cooldown.

Update on what? There was no new content since then, so the skills and the armor are still the same and the guide as a whole is still a good base for new Dragoons

I think he could be still active atm since I personally knew him. But to be honnest, he left his dragoon a few weeks after he posted his guide for making a destroyer because he didn't like PvPing as a goon.
