The shoes do not require 120 of any stats. The capstone ability is the only thing that requires the stat. The explosive enchants and the regular enchants do not require any build. Additionally the refinement effects do not require any specific build.

Not all of the capstones are worth getting 120 for.

If you want a specific capstone, tweak the build you are currently using to allow for it.

Question... Last night during a run found a Colorful Key. Anyone know what this is used for - if anything at all. If it said anything else besides key I would have just tossed it but seeing has how this is an rpg I would hope that a KEY would actually be used to open something lol.

I don't think the refine bonuses(other than HP and SP) are working properly. My Warlock is only getting the bonus for having 120 Int, as well as the HP/SP for every 3 refine, and that's with +12 Int Boots on.

 

With Variants on:

It's a little hard to see, but with the Variants, my MAtk is 276+493, with +12 Temporal Int Boots, it's 276+553. =/

Yes, it seems the MATK bonus is kinda bugged.

 

I haven't test if is +MATK or %MATK (which won't show in the status windows).

You get those by going to the treasury after defeating amdarais, within the glast heim instance. There's a secret area somewhere in the first floor. There are some statue-like structures(need to rotate camera to see) and you can get those equips by chance when you click on those statues.

 

Do you need to get to that area on your char for the drops or will you get the equips by just clicking?

Are the items dropped from the statues used for something? Like the silver bars(?), some brooch (I think?) and similar etc items, don't kill me pls I'm bad with names. Noticed that they sell to NPCs for quite a bit, was wondering if they have any other use.

I found the room, but I can't find any way to get in it to pick up the loot though. How do we get in there?

You should be able to enter after amdarais is beaten in that run. Went there a few times.

You click on the statues and items drop on the ground, like when a monster dies and drops loot. You can get coagulated spells from the statues too.

Tested the boots. Gained just over 300 damage(no weapon) with them on versus Variants. Hit for 2488 to a Lunatic per hit from Crimson Rock, versus 2151 with Variants on.

As per your comment before... in fact. % MATK would be way better than just + MATK. If you have high Overall MATK, the better. (10% MATK is like having a brynhild).

It won't kill anyone under sacrifice since DA now reduces AB dmg afaik

 

Can you please tell me what DA means and if it has any relevance to MVP scene please? ^^; 

 

This and what someone mentioned about ABs getting a nerf a page or so before is gonna make me break down in tears...

Sorcs could be killers without FHB in WoE with those enchanted shoes and that staff ( +220 EXTRA int), right?

Testing the boots with 120 int, and checking for an increase in damage does not verify whether the upgrade bonus works or not. A better test would have been using something with less than 120 int, and showing there's no increase in damage.

After testing on non-120 Warlock, it seems that the upgrade bonus of +10 matk every 3 upgrades currently is not working (not gving +10%matk neither).

 

Perhaps that's something GMs should take a look into it for next maintenance?
